Greta Gerwig showcases her individual style in a peach peplum top and trousers at Mistress America screening in London

Greta Gerwig stars as one of the leading-ladies in Mistress America, so it was only fitting that she stole the limelight on the pink carpet at the film's London screening on Tuesday night.

Donning a peach peplum top, that boasted a large and flowing trail, the 32-year-old cut a stylish figure at the Picturehouse Central in Picadilly.

The California-born actress was joined by her partner - the film's director and writer Noah Baumbach, who she has been dating since 2011 - as they arrived together on the pastel pink carpet.

Greta - who has starred opposite Ben Stiller in Greenberg (2010) and Russel Brand in Arthur (2011) -  looked every-inch the indie leading lady as she arrived at the premiere with a beaming smile on  her face.

Wearing a strapless, figure-hugging, pastel-peach peplum that featured an extremely long, thigh-length trail, the American actress showcased her slim figure whilst flaunting her knowledge of in-style summer fashion.

Teaming the colourful top with a pair of slim-line black trousers and stiletto heels, Greta added a sophisticated yet stylish edge to her evening wardrobe.

Leaving her naturally pretty features to shine through, the star wore minimal make-up and a complementing pallet of pale tones, while she wore her perfectly coiffed hair in a short slicked-back pixie cut.

Taking to the carpet with Noah - who wrote the storyline and script for her 2010 comedy, Greenberg - the pair cut quite the trendy couple.

The New Yorker, 45, looked dapper in a navy suit which he teamed with a pale blue shirt, whilst he lent an air of West Village hipster to his ensemble with a pair of trainers.

In Mistress America - Noah's follow-up to 2014's While We're young starring Ben Stiller and Charlize Theron - Greta plays Brooke an adventurous and lively soul who meets her soon-to-be stepsister in New York.

Taking lonely college freshman Tracy - played by Gone Girl's Lola Kirk - under her wing, the duo set out to chase their dreams, settle some scores and steal a cat.

And while Greta must have enjoyed working with her writer/director beau on the up-lifting comedy, she has plunged straight into another light-hearted project.

Landing a leading role in Wiener-Dog, Greta stars along-side Danny DeVito, Brie Larson and Kieran Culkin in the off-beat comedy.

The comedy, which she is currently filming, tells the story of a dog as it travels around the US, spreading comfort and joy to all who meet it.
