Hilary Swank cut a low-key figure when she stepped out for dinner with a male companion on Monday night.

The Karate Kid actress kept it cool and casual as she stepped out with the companion for a bite to eat, for the second time in a fortnight. 

Going make-up free, the stunner let her natural beauty shine through for the occasion as she beamed from ear to ear.

Hilary, 41, opted for a comfortable yet stylish ensemble which comprised blue turned-up jeans, a black and red plaid shirt which she wore unbuttoned with a low-neck white T-shirt beneath it.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star kept her footwear as equally low-key and she slipped on a pair of pristine white Converse trainers.

Hilary was a vision of natural beauty as she opted to forgo every inch of make-up and wore her long brunette in a free-flowing style.

Her male companion followed her lead and sported a similar shade of jeans, a blue and white checked shirt and a pair of white canvas trainers.

Hilary held car keys in her hand and the twosome were presumably walking away from the parked vehicle and to their dinner destination.

MailOnline have approached Hilary's management for comment. 

It is the duo's second sighting in not as many weeks. They were first pictured enjoying each other's company at a restaurant in New York City on one summer evening last week.

Hilary and the mystery man were spotted dining al fresco-style on what was his debut outing with the much-loved star - although there's nothing to suggest they are romantically linked. 

The Million Dollar Baby actress married Chad Lowe in 1997 before officially divorcing in 2007.

Hilary then dated her agent John Campisi from 2006 and the couple split in the summer of 2012.
