She’s renowned for delighting fans with her powerful vocal talents and showstopping moves, but it appears as if Lady Gaga can also cook up a storm away from the stage.

The 29-year-old songstress, who is engaged to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney has been showing off her culinary skills after posting a series of pictures onto her Instagram page.

Taking to her social media sites on Monday, she shared a picture of herself cooking up a delicious pasta treat for the Chicago Fire Department.

‘Making ziti for the Chicago Fire Department,’ she captioned a snap. ‘I hope they're not too busy today, but this should fill their bellies I hope they like it!’

Over the past few months, Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – has been busying travelling the world on her Cheek To Cheek tour with musical legend Tony Bennett.

On Saturday, the American popstar Instagrammed a lavish white confection she had ordered in honour of the hitmaker's 89th birthday, just one day after their final Cheek To Cheek performance.

Alongside the image, she wrote: ‘When the Birthday cake you got Tony is too big for Instagram!’

Posting another shot, the hitmaker referred to her dog Miss Asia and Tony's canine Happy in a close-up image of the cake figurines.

The Applause singer will be starring in the new season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story: Hotel, which kicks off in October.

In addition to her new acting gig, Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Germanotta - is working on her fifth studio album with producer RedOne and Giorgio Moroder.
