Chris Brown to fight baby mama Nia Guzman's attempts to cut off unsupervised access to daughter Royalty
Chris Brown is not going to give up access to his daughter without a fight.
According to TMZ, the 26-year-old singer has plans to counter Nia Guzman's efforts to take full custody of Royalty, their one-year-old daughter.
This report came one day after it was revealed on the same site that Nia had petitioned the court to restrict Chris to only supervised visitation with his daughter.

Fighting back: Chris Brown (right in June) will file an official opposition to baby mama Nia Guzman's attempts to limit the singer to supervised custody of their daughter, Royalty (left)
Chris' new claims against Nia - which will be part of an official opposition filing from the Kiss Kiss singer - were reported on Monday.
Three points on which Nia had specifically objected were to be refuted: that Chris might put Royalty in harm's way, that he or his friends might use drugs in her presence, and that violent acquaintances of the singer might endanger the girl.
Concerned: Nia, who conceived Royalty during a fling with Chris, has reportedly been concerned about Chris' responsibility and connections to crimes
Sources cited in the new report said that Chris had increased security after a recent break-in and denied Royalty had ever been exposed to either drugs or violent individuals.
It was not specified as to when Chris' opposition filing would be submitted, and Royalty remains in her mother's primary custody for the moment.
This would not be the first time Chris has needed to file legal paperwork with regard to his only child, who was conceived during a fling with Nia.
No support: Although Chris agreed to $10,000 per month in child support, he refused to pay in July after Royalty was sent to his mother, Joyce Hawkins, when he expected to visit
The singer recently filed documents to establish his paternity - thereby allowing for joint custody of Royalty - but a judge has not yet ruled.
An earlier TMZ report also said that Chris had refused a $10,000 per month child support agreement in July after being denied access to Royalty while she was visiting his mother, Joyce Hawkins.
Nia's attempt to retain full custody of Royalty reportedly stems from her belief that Chris is too irresponsible to care for the child.
Home invasion: One of Nia's concerns has been the July 15 robbery of Chris' house, an incident which reportedly has been linked to the singer's friends or colleagues
The July 15 armed robbery of Chris' home - while he was out at a nightclub - also may have worried her.
Friends or acquaintances of Chris haven been rumoured to be the most likely culprits behind the home invasion.
Members of the notorious Los Angeles-based gang, the Bloods, have also been implicated in the act.
Happy daddy: In addition to acknowledging the girl on Instagram, Chris mentioned Royalty during the BET Awards at the end of June
'[Nia] thinks many of Chris' friends are gang members or gang-affiliated, and the robbery shows they've now turned on Chris,' a source told TMZ.
The hit singer's string of arrests for assault over the years - including a conviction for domestic abuse toward then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 - have not increased Nia's confidence.
As for Chris, he has seemed ready to embrace the addition of a daughter to his life, mentioning Royalty in an acceptance speech at the BET Awards on June 28.
Complicated history: Chris has a history of run-ins with the law, including a 2009 domestic abuse charge after he hit then-girlfriend Rihanna (above in 2008)
Legality: Before Nia filed the most recent documents, Chris had requested a paternity ruling to help resolve ongoing disputes
'A lot has changed in my life. A lot of mistakes, a lot of lessons learned. Best thing I'm most thankful for is my daughter,' Chris told the crowd at the Microsoft Theater.
Chris publicly confirmed he was Royalty's father with an Instagram post in April - his then-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, broke up with the singer because of it.
