The social media and marketing specialist spotted Dwight's internet potential and set up an Instagram page for his new pet.

Now the reptile's adventures have inspired a children's book which will be published later this year.

Mr Miller, 23, said: 'To break the internet all you need is a cute animal. People love him because of his size and because he is such a go-getter.

'Dwight loves to climb and then often falls over. But no matter how big the obstacle is he will always tackle it.

'That's what the audience really love about him. I get a lot of comments saying that he is an inspiration because when he falls over, he just flips around on to his front no matter what.

'When Dwight came into the my life I saw an opportunity so I instantly made a Instagram page for him. It started off just for fun but he actually loves being on camera.
