Lewandowski reached out his foot and prodded the ball past the already committed Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas before celebrating his winning goal.

It's a deserved Audi Cup triumph for Bayern Munich with a weakened Real Madrid side on the night offering very little in attack as they claim second place.
Tottenham of course came third after beating AC Milan earlier in the third place play-off.
That's all from me folks. Thanks for following and cheerio.
Bayern Munich win the Audi Cup
90+1min: It's Real who need a goal but in two added minutes it's Bayern who nearly score again! Costa's low effort across goal superbly beaten away by Navas - by far Madrid's best player.
88min: It's been coming and Bayern Munich have left it until the last few moments to take the lead as Robert Lewandowski steals a march inside the six-yard box to tap home a Costa free-kick from out wide.
86min: Another minute, another Bayern chance. Costa, who has had a quiet second half, cuts in from the left after collecting a Rode pass before drilling narrowly wide of the near post.
84min: Time is running out for Bayern to win this in normal time, I say Bayern purely because Real Madrid's attack has dissolved as this half has wore on. Ramos goes down needing treatment in the Real box as penalties loom around the corner. He should be ok to continue though.
81min: Another Bayern change as Fabian Benko replaces Rafinha. It's an onslaught from the home side now.
80min: Another fine save! Alaba's free-kick from 35 yards was heading for the bottom corner, only for Navas to dive low, reach out and tip the ball away.
The way he has played, Madrid don't even need David de Gea!
78min: Navas will just not beaten as he palms away another powerful Munich strike. Pep Guardiola is getting ready to throw on some more substitutions as he furiously throws out instructions on the touchline.
Try telling him this is just a friendly...
75min: Well we are 15 minutes away from full-time and we look about as far away from a goal than at any other point in this contest - especially judging by the latest effort as Rode bends a shot well off target.
If this game does end in a draw then the Audi Cup final will go straight to penalties.
72min: The football hasn't been as good in this half but the intensity in this game remains ridiculously high for a friendly.
Now Ramos is booked for a dangerous tackle on Rode, which came moments after Lewandowski swung an elbow at Carvajal. Feisty.
Kroos and Vazquez depart as Borja Mayoral and Danilo come on for Madrid.
69min: Nearly a bizarre opening goal at the Allianz Arena! Illarramendi catches Neuer well out of position but his low 40-yard strike lacks power as the Germany keeper manages to scramble across his goal mouth to make the save.
66min: Back come Madrid though as Kroos's testing and powerful long range drive forces Neuer to dive low to his left and parry clear.
Pierre Hojbjerg replaces Alonso for Bayern Munich.
63min: Now Bayern are cooking but they still can't score! Robert Lewandowski somehow prods wide from close range while Muller heads straight at Navas moments later. Modric and James Rodriguez are not exactly clicking at the moment for Real.
60min: More changes on the way, this time for Bayern as Arturo Vidal departs in favour of Juan Bernat
57min: Here come the big guns for Madrid. Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Alvaro Arbeloa are on, replacing Jese, Marcelo and Isco
54min: It's taken nearly 10 minutes but Bayern are finding their feet again, with Benatia heading wide from a cross. Probably should have done better but then he was given a cheeky push in the back by Ramos.
51min: Mighty harsh, especially for a friendly, as Medhi Benatia is booked for a fairly conservative attempt of a challenge on Lucas Vazquez.
Madrid have a free-kick 25 yards out, with Kroos' top corner bound drive tipped over by Neuer.
48min: Bayern don't look as strong in the opening few minutes, with Madrid having stepped it up following a poor first half in an attacking sense. Can they find a second half breakthrough though?
Changes on the way for Real Madrid as Asier Illarramendi and Marco Asensio replaces Denis Cheryshev and Casemiro.
Robert Lewandowski and Sebastian Rode are on for Bayern in place of Lahm and Gotze.
The hosts have dominated this clash and through set-pieces, stylish play, rocket shots and even lucky breaks should really have found a breakthrough by now.
Real Madrid without the big three of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo don't look the same force.
Instead the shining attacking light from the first half is Douglas Costa for Bayern.
45+1min: In one added minute, Ramos goes down under pressure from Boateng battling for a header, but his tumble is a little too theatrical as play is waved on despite his penalty appeals.
44min: Excellent stop from Navas! Costa skips in behind the Madrid defence, playing a byline cut-back across the box for Mario Gotze.
The forward's low strike is well evaded by Muller, whose presence in front of the Madrid keeper wouldn't have helped as he parried clear
42min: Madrid's best avenues for creating chances recently have come from free-kicks but even they are not producing as Kroos' attempted cross into the box is headed clear.
Kroos, along with Ramos, have been bright spots in an otherwise poor Madrid performance.
39min: Nearly a freak opening goal for Bayern! Muller's 25-yard strike was going miles wide only for it to hit Ramos.
The ball changed course to creep towards the bottom corner but with Navas beaten as he scrambled across the line, it bounced off the post and eventually out to safety.
Bayern may deserve the lead but not in that fashion!
36min: Speaking of terrible free-kicks, Madrid now win a set-piece 30 yards from goal but that too is wasteful as it is blasted over the bar.
Still they get another opportunity now as Alonso is booked for a very late tackle on Carvajal, picking up a yellow card in the process.
33min: Lahm wants a penalty after being chopped down by a late Marcelo sliding tackle, but a free-kick is given on the very edge of the box and it's the correct call as the Madrid full-back is also booked for his poor challenge. Bayern though waste the set-piece.
Since Ramos's overhead kick Real Madrid haven't had a kick.
31min: Fine football from Bayern! The hosts engage in a one-touch passing move inside the Real box, with Lahm's lay-off for Thomas Muller resulting in the forward side-footing a crisp low effort just wide of the far psot
28min: That will spark the home fans up. The ball falls for Douglas Costa at the far post, but his low strike takes a crucial deflection off Dani Carvajal's outstretched foot allowing Sergio Ramos to hack clear from inside the six yard box.
25min: Bayern look very comfortable on the ball now, but the chances are not exactly filtering through. In fact here comes our first bout of Mexican Waves from the crowd. A universal sign of 'I'm bored.'
22min: Maybe Bayern are trying to do too much passing at times. Arturo Vidal, David Alaba and Xabi Alonso ping the ball between each other neatly enough on the edge of the Madrid box, but none of them manage to create a chance as Madrid eventually put the ball behind for a corner.
19min: Boateng seems to have recovered from that knock he picked up five minutes ago, and Bayern Munich seem to have recovered from that early Madrid blitz. The hosts are in control of this game now as they boss possession.
16min: And already Real Madrid are forced into a change. Pepe trudges off with what looks like a hamstring strain and on in his place is Nacho.
15min: Just 15 minutes into this final and both teams already have injury concerns. Pepe has gone down for Real Madrid while Jerome Boateng is receiving treatment on the touchline. Already it's carnage.
12min: Ever since I criticised Madrid's attacks they have been piling on the pressure, with Sergio Ramos's attempted overhead kick flying wide following a corner.
It's Bayern who nearly open the scoring through with David Alaba's powerful strike which had no spin on it being parried away by Keylor Navas into the path of Philipp Lahm.
Lahm attempts to head the rebound in, but under pressure can only guide the shot off target.
9min: Well that's a little better from Real Madrid. Dani Carvajal cuts in from the right and while his pass for ISco results in the midfielder's shot being blocked, Toni Kroos follows up with a powerful low drive which curls wide of the bottom corner - Manuel Neuer had it covered though.
6min: There's no Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale for Real Madrid and so far it's showing. There hasn't been much creative threat from the Spanish side as Pepe boots a long ball over the top and out of play for a goal kick.
3min: It's the hosts who come out the blocks quickest, with Thomas Muller dragging a low shot wide from 20 yards in the opening moments.
It was already an atmospheric ground for Spurs vs AC Milan but the fans have constantly been filing in since that game kicked off, so there are not many spare seats around for this clash now as the teams make their way out.
Neuer, Benatia, Alaba, Rafinha, Boateng, Lahm, Vidal, Costa, Alonso, Gotze, Muller.
Navas, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Carvajal, Casemiro, Kroos, Lucas Vazquez, Isco, Cheryshev, Jese.
Tottenham impressed during their 2-0 win over AC Milan to take third place in the Audi Cup, but now the big boys are ready to take over.
Following wins yesterday, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will now battle to become Audi Cup champions.
Don't scoff too much at this pre-season clash, this has potential to be better than most Champions League group stage games this season.
The pre-season campaign may be coming to an end but the high profile clashes just keep on coming as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich meet in the final of the Audi Cup.
Real Madrid defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 on Tuesday in the four-team tournament which also included AC Milan who were soundly beaten 3-0 by the hosts at the Allianz Arena.
