A West Australian boy is recovering with the support of his community, after his throat was severely cut in a motorbike accident and later suffered a stroke. 10 year-old Hamish Bolto (right) was riding a motorbike with his brothers and friends in his rural town of Katanning, south-east of Perth, on the afternoon of ANZAC Day, Saturday April 25.

Young Levi became an internet sensation after the footage started to do the rounds on social media and much to his delight, he was asked to join a Blues training session so he could meet his idol face to face. Young Levi had one request for the towering forward: 'When you kick a goal on Saturday can you do the double cobra please?'

A captivating, but ominous looking cloud has cast a colossal shadow over Perth this weekend, bringing with it the promise of wild weather. Around 7mm of rain has already fallen across the West Australian capital today, with hail storms expected to cause some trouble late Saturday afternoon. Avid weather watchers across the city have captured a collection of enchanting pictures as a unique cloud formation hovered above Perth. Those with a penchant for photography pointed their lenses towards the grey sky as the breathtaking cold front rolled in early Saturday morning. As the day progressed, the captivating images started to emerge on social media.

Nick Gordon fed Bobbi Kristina Brown a 'toxic cocktail' then placed her face-down in a tub of cold water on the last night she was seen conscious, according to a landmark lawsuit filed on Friday. It adds a 'wrongful death' case against Gordon since he was accused of assault, battery, causing emotional distress, and stealing Brown's money in late June.  Brown, 22, was found unresponsive in a bath in January and remained in a coma for six months until her death on July 26. The clothes children are allowed to wear at play centres is set for an overhaul after a little girl was found found unconscious on playground equipment in Sydney's west. The incident involving the preschooler, who is reportedly 'improving' in hospital, is said to prompt a review of whether accessories like scarves, headbands and ribbons should be worn by children playing at childcare and early learning centres. Christine Erskine, the executive officer of Kidsafe NSW told Fairfax the incident would "undoubtedly" prompt a review of what is allowed to be worn by children.

Django Unchained actress Daniele Watts has been ordered to rewrite the backhanded apology letter she begrudgingly sent to Los Angeles police and her neighbors. Watts was detained last September after allegedly having sex in a car in public with her boyfriend Brian Lucas. A high profile saga ensued, as Watts and Lucas claimed they had merely been kissing in the street, and that they were targeted for being an interracial couple. Watts is black, Lucas is white. After pleading no contest to disturbance charges, Watts was ordered to apologize to the neighbors who reported the incident, and the police who were accused of racial profiling. However, Watts and Lucas merely apologized to the police officer for disturbing 'your carefree coffee break' and thanked him for giving them the opportunity to shine a light on racial profiling. And now, they have been ordered to re-write it.

Filmmaker Michael Moore's former vacation home in the Traverse City area is up for sale. The home on Torch Lake in northern Michigan is on the market for $5.2 million. The home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and there's a guest cottage on the property. There are also five fireplaces, a gym and an art studio in the house. The property is owned by Moore's ex-wife Kathleen Glynn. He filed for divorce in 2013.
