She claims her new role is her most controversial to date.

And comedienne Rebel Wilson was back at work on the set of new Sacha Baron Cohen comedy Grimsby in Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old actress was sporting an eclectic mix of clothing as she hung around on the set of the future blockbuster.

Rebel donned a pair of form-fitting Union Jack leggings and a loose, pineapple emblazoned vest top that showed off her patterned bra.

The star wrapped up in an oversized padded jacket as she chatted to crew members behind the scenes during filming.

Rebel touched down in Cape Town a few days ago amid rumours she is planning to marry her boyfriend Mickey Gooch in Las Vegas later this year.

Meanwhile, fans will have to wait until next Spring for Grimsby's release.

The film, directed by Louis Leterrier, follows a dimwitted soccer hooligan, played by Borat star Sasha, who is on the run with his black-ops spy brother.

Rebel told Australian Women’s Weekly earlier this year that she's worried about one particularly risqué scene in which her character Dawn dons a burqa.

In a bid to combat any trouble, Rebel is even considering stepping up her security when the film comes out next March.

‘Sacha has said I might need extra security when the movie comes out,’ she said to the magazine.

‘Obviously, I don’t mean any offence to Muslims... it is a joke and no offence meant.’
