It's been a whirlwind week for Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness in Sydney as they caught up with friends, relaxed at the beach, and hosted a charity event on Saturday.

All the craziness may have gotten to the actor's head as he was filmed brazenly photo bombing a reporter on live television on Wednesday.

The 46-year-old actor crept up behind Channel Ten reporter Jessica Turner before delivering his line to the camera - 'photo bomb'.

The reporter seemed unnerved as she laughed along with onlookers and told the star: 'The best kind of photo bomb, Hugh!'.

Jessica later retweeted Sandra Sully's tweet 'a reporter's dream!' along with a clip of the moment.

The cheeky actor and his wife were visiting the hospital to unveil a Faight Cancer Foundation's Back On Track program which aims to keep sick children on course with their education.

 The pair have been in Australia since June travelling around the country with their 9-year-old daughter Ava.

Last week the Aussie native wore his favourite Akubra hat as he enjoyed quality time with his wife, daughter, and parents, Grace McNeil and Christopher Jackman, at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

Saturday night saw the couple host charity event Adopt Change in Walsh Bay.

The selfie-loving star posted a snap with Deborra-Lee, captioning it 'A beautiful night with my beautiful wife.'

The pair, dressed in black-tie attire, smiled as the camera with the setting sun over Bondi Beach as a backdrop.

Hugh also appeared to have stopped by The Voice set on Sunday as he posted yet another selfie - this time with judge Ricky Martin.
