Perks of being a superhero! Fantastic Four's Miles Teller tells Seth Meyers that he got to skip the airport line because the customs agent was a fan

It's the moment we all dread - being singled out in the airport customs queue.

Miles Teller, 28, revealed to Seth Meyers on Monday night that he was nervous after getting a tap on the shoulder from a customs agent as he waited in a long line after flying internationally.

However, the Fantastic Four actor explained to the Late Night host that - much to his relief - the worker had recognised him from the Marvel Comics film and helped him to skip the queue.

'He says, "come on, do you really think Mr Fantastic has to wait in line?"'

The actor added: 'Then he said something cooler, he said: "Welcome to the Marvel Universe", I was like - is this guy Dr Storm?'

He's also impressed his own father - who - he told Seth - was a big fan of the Fantastic Four comics books growing up.

Based on the Marvel Comics series, Fantastic 4 follows the exploits of the group after they are transported to a strange universe and return with altered bodies and super powers.

The group must then use their abilities to save the Earth from a new enemy - someone they once considered to be a friend.

Fantastic 4 will be released in North America on Friday.
