Star power! Taraji P. Henson gets a huge Lip Sync Battle assist from Mary J. Blige as she competes against Empire co-star Terrence Howard
Fans of Empire got to watch Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard go head-to-head throughout that show's first season, and now they will be doing it again on Lip Sync Battle.
On August 20, the 44-year-old actress and the 46-year-old actor will face off against each other in the music competition.
A preview video for the episode shows that Taraji might get a little help - in the form of Mary J. Blige - for one of her performances.

Singing star: Taraji P. Henson put on a performance of Mary J. Blige's Just Fine in a preview for an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle
The video clip focuses on Taraji's lip sync of Mary's 2007 song, Just Fine.
Although she seemed to be killing the performance already, Mary's surprise arrival on the stage kicked up the excitement.
Taraji and Mary finished the number to thunderous applause, while even Terrence looked impressed with his opponent.
Help: Partway through the show, Mary showed up onstage to duet with Taraji
Unstoppable: Although Taraji did well by herself, the addition of Mary destroyed the competition - the actress' Empire co-star, Terrence Howard
Not content to simply destroy her rival and Empire love, Taraji called out Terrence afterwards: 'What you got? Who rollin' with you?'
Unfortunately, the clip does not include Terrence's response to such a challenge.
Both Empire and Lip Sync Battle were notable successes in the 2014-2015 television season.
Empire debuted on FOX in January and eventually rose to be the highest-rated scripted show on television before the season ended.
Call-out: After she finished, Taraji asked Terrence who was 'rollin' with him
No response: The video ended before Terrence's response could be heard
Praised by critics and fans, the hip-hop drama has garnered multiple award nominations, including Taraji's Emmy nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in the role of Cookie Lyon.
Lip Sync Battle, meanwhile, was a surprise hit for cable network Spike and boasted the highest-rated premiere in the channel's history.
Empire's second season will premiere on September 23, while Lip Sync Battle will return for its season two at a later date.
