'Looks like we have a 'lil actor on our hands!' Makeup-free Robyn Lawley shares delight as daughter Ripley mimics her expression

She recently said she'd prefer her daughter Ripley not to follow in her modeling footsteps, unless she was promoting her own brand.

But, while Australian model Robyn Lawley's baby girl might not be headed for a career on the catwalk, the little tot is showing an early appreciation for acting.

The new mother, 26, shared a montage of cute snaps of herself and her blue-eyed babe pulling cute faces for the camera on Wednesday.

'Looks like we have a lil actor on our hands I did sad face to send to our friend @leahkelley saying we missed her and she did it hahaha gold,' she wrote beside the Instagram snap.

In the trio of pictures the adorable daughter of Robyn and her fiance Everest Schmidt does her best sad face, before replacing it with a cheeky grin and, finally, chewing on her fore finger.

Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated beauty Robyn reveals her flawless visage as she shuns makeup for the natural look in the close up snap.

With her warm brown hair pushed back from her face the cover girl's luminous skin and hazelnut eyes shine in the picture, only just beaten by her cute daughter.

The swimwear entrepreneur and cookbook author gave birth to her first-born in February and recently opened up to Daily Mail Australia about her 'extreme love' for her little girl.

'Motherhood is great, she's a dream and she's really cute, I like it more than I thought I would,' she said.

The 6ft 2ins model caused a stir when she questioned her 'mothering instincts' and how her career would subsequently suffer after discovering she was pregnant last year.

While she was candid about her thoughts on whether she wanted to keep her child, she says she now spends every hour with Ripley taking her on assignments and now 'rarely' goes out.

'It's not until you have a kid that you realise that you would say "I would lay down my life for you." It's quite extreme, it's a love I've never felt before.'

She went on: 'A lot of other stuff doesn't matter anymore, I don't care about gossip any more, all those things go out the door, you've got a little life to protect.

'And I don't care about going out, getting dressed up. Going out is rare and Saturday night is spent at home watching movies.'

'I was really so sad when I lost her because we were so close...Ripley is a joyful reminder of her...

'Ripley means a lot, she reminds me a lot of my gran,' she said at the Brands Exclusive fashion event at a Napoleon Perdis’ Life.Style store in Sydney's Double Bay.

'Gran knew I was pregnant and that I was happy. It's true it [the pregnancy] came as a surprise but it was worth it.

'She's [Ripley] so like her in many ways, a people person, she has empathy, too, and can read people.
