When it comes to fashion she's not afraid to experiment.

And Paloma Faith put on a bold display when she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old singer flaunted her bronzed and slender figure in a black and red oversized polka dot ensemble as she emerged from her Manhattan hotel.

The colourful outfit consisted of a tank top, mesh skirt and matching ruck sack - all taken from Pharrell Williams' Originals Collection for Adidas.

The Stone Cold Sober hit-maker further added to her sporty look with a pair of fresh black Converse.

The British star wore her bleached blonde hair in a straight style and accessorised with a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses.

She was accompanied by a male friend and several items of luggage as she made her way to a waiting car with a smile on her face and a spring in her step.

It looks like somebody is embracing the athleisure trend! Paloma Faith stepped out of her hotel in NYC in an adidas tank top and a matching skirt and bookbag. She topped it all off with a pair of Converse hi top sneakers.

The sporty ensemble hails from Pharrell Williams' collaboration with the brand. The oversized polka dots are reminiscent of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's whimsical creations.

On Tuesday evening Paloma performed at the 2015 FOLD Festival at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead where Nile Rodgers and his iconic group Chic were also performing.

The chart-topper cracked out her third outfit of the day for her performance, this time choosing a mustard yellow and hot pink satin ensemble.

Paloma and music producer Nile met up in the studio ahead of the gig and shared a photo of the pair of them together on Instagram at the weekend.

She captioned the snap: 'In the studio today learning from a master @nilerodgers.'
