'I will make this up to you': Justin Bieber apologises to UK fans after cancelling charity performance due to 'unforeseen issue'

Brace yourself Britain: Justin Bieber is not coming.

The 21-year-old revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that he will not be performing at the Fusion Festival.

The singer was due to headline the charity gig's opening night on Friday August 28th.

However in a series of tweets he broke the devastating news to 'Uk beliebers' that he is not coming due to an 'unforeseen issue'.

'To all my UK beliebers... Due to an unforeseen issue I will be unable to perform at the Fusion Festival on August 28th,' he wrote/ 'I support the Prince's Trust wholeheartedly and I am deeply disappointed I won't be able to perform. I look forward to the opportunity to give my UK beliebers a great show in the near future, and hope to honor my commitment to Trust at that time.'

He promised his fans he was 'going to make this up to you soon'.

Break: Later on Tuesday the pop star took some time out to play soccer with some youngsters near the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

'I do want to thank the prince's trust for their understanding and I don't take moving any show lightly. I will see u soon UK.' he added.

Justin did not elaborate any further on the mysterious issue that prevented him from travelling to the UK for the show three and a half weeks in advance. 

Festival organisers released a statement saying: 'Fusion Festival are incredibly disappointed to hear of Justin Bieber's withdrawal from the event. We are working hard to secure another exciting act for the festival and will hopefully have some news shortly.'

On Sunday the Baby singer did manage to make it to Hard Summer Music Festival in Pomona, California, even though he wasn't billed to appear there.

He hit the stage for a surprise performance with US DJ duo Diplo and Skrillex - AKA Jack U - during their headlining set.

Bieber collaborated with the pair on their track Where Are U Now and was joined be a slew of backing dancers when they performed to the crowd.
