For the past 11 years, Amy Schumer says she’s been paid in pizza.

Ever the comedienne, Amy’s comment on Kelly & Michael was clearly a joke; but it came while the actress was explaining the ugly truth about how the producers of her latest film Trainwreck hinted that they wanted the actress to lose weight for the role.

Even though Schumer is the first one to joke about her frequently discussed weight, the 34-year-old actress appears to care a little bit as she was seen hitting the gym on Tuesday in New York.

On her way to her morning workout, Schumer stopped for a pastry on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The Inside Amy Schumer star wore a pair of skimpy black shorts and a strapless white top, along with grey trainers.

With earbuds in she jammed to music and also went make-up free under a red cap and aviator sunglasses.

On Monday night John Stewart kicked off his final week as host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Amy Schumer as his guest.

The two discussed Schumer’s recent vacation with fellow actress and beloved Hollywood icon Jennifer Lawrence, which went viral.

Amy, who travels to The Hamptons every year with a group of friends from high school, asked J-Law to join her on the annual trip and was surprised when she accepted the invitation.

After bonding over a shared jet ski ride and making a human pyramid, Schumer called her new friend: ‘the coolest chick you’ll ever meet.’

Daring to bare: The star went make-up free under her baseball cap and aviator sunglasses

Bikini buds: Appearing on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show on Monday night, Schumer dished about a recent vacation took in The Hamptons, where she was joined by Jennifer Lawrence

But her appearance on Jon Stewart wasn’t all jet skis and human pyramids.

Amy and Jon also discussed the recent movie theatre shooting, which left three dead (including the gunman) and nine injured.

‘What a bummer, I was legit heartbroken,’ Schumer told Stewart. ‘To get that call, I’d had a lot of missed calls so I assumed there was a sex tape out of me or something. I was preparing for that, then to hear that news, it broke my heart.’

Earlier in the day, Schumer had tears in her eyes as she appeared with her cousin Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) to propose a public initiative tackling gun violence, in response to the late July tragedy in Lafayette, Louisiana.
