Miss Fox, 49, shared the news of the death of her 'soulmate' in an announcement on Twitter and Facebook
A message posted on her Facebook page said: 'It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Myra Stratton. She was Samantha Fox’s partner and manager for the last 16 years.
'She bravely fought cancer for the last 2 years but lost her battle on Sunday. Samantha asks for privacy as she grieves at this time.'
She later wrote on her Instagram page: 'Bye my baby, no more suffering, I will always love you and (you will) be forever in my heart your Sammy xxxxxxxxxxxxxx FOREVER.'
The pair became romantically involved 12 years ago but Miss Stratton, had also worked as the model's manager for the previous four years.
A source told The Sun: 'Sam is absolutely devastated. She adored and loved Myra and her loss has created a huge hole in her life.

Miss Fox (pictured left in 1986 and right in 1995), once one of the most popular pin-ups of the 1980s, announced plans to marry Miss Stratton in a civil partnership in 2009

'Myra was Sam's manager but also her best friend and lover. It's a huge loss for her.'
Miss Fox, once one of the most popular pin-ups of the 1980s, announced plans to marry Miss Stratton in a civil partnership in 2009.
The 49-year-old was born in April 1966 and went on to become a dancer, singer, actress and glamour model.
Miss Fox shot to fame in 1983 at the age of 16 after her mother sent pictures of her in lingerie to The Sunday People's Face and Shape competition.
She came second out of 20,000 girls who entered and was invited to test shoot for The Sun's Page Three feature.
Her parents gave consent for her to pose topless and she became the youngest Page 3 Girl and the only one given a four-year contract.

Her photo was published under the headline Sam, 16, Quits A-Levels for Ooh-Levels.
She won The Sun's Page Three Girl of the Year award for three consecutive years between 1984 and 1986 and went on to pose nude for men's magazines.
She retired from Page Three modelling at age 20 and launched a music career, releasing her hit song Touch Me (I Want Your Body), which went to number one in 17 countries.
In 1989 she co-presented the BRIT Awards with Mick Fleetwood, which notoriously descended into a shambles. Miss Fox later blamed a faulty autocue for the problems she encountered on the night.
During the late 1980s she was romantically linked with Australian conman Peter Foster and she also had a relationship with Paul Stanley, a guitarist and singer of the band Kiss.
Foster cheated on her with another woman, used her to promote a bogus brand of slimming tea and then sold the story of their sex life to a newspaper.

There were claims that Sam Fox (centre) was in a relationship with the woman she was living with, the Australian musician Cris Bonacci (right)
In interviews she has spoken of her desire to settle down and have children, but has said: 'All my life, it's been the same with men. Being a woman who is famous and adored by men is very hard for any boyfriend to handle. All my boyfriends end up insecure.'
Rumours over her sexual orientation began to surface in 1999 amid claims she was in a relationship with the woman she was living with, the Australian musician Cris Bonacci.
Miss Bonacci was once in an all-girl band, Sox, with her, and also played with an all-female rock group, Girlschool.
The two women lived together for around three years and before then Miss Fox shared a flat with her 'best mate' Debbie Connor.
It was not until 2003 that she made a statement about her personal life, saying: 'I have slept with other women but I've not been in love before Myra Stratton. People say I'm gay....I don't know what I am. All I know is that I'm in love with Myra. I love her completely and want to spend the rest of my life with her.'

In recent years Fox has appeared in several reality shows including I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here and Come Dine With Me.
In 2008 the couple appeared in Celebrity Wife Swap along with Freddie Starr and his wife Donna.
During the show, Miss Fox spoke of her love for her partner, telling viewers: 'If she wasn't there my world would fall apart. She's my soulmate and the person I have been looking for all my life.'
A year later, on I'm A Celebrity, she revealed how her and Miss Stratton were engaged.
She said at the time: 'We’re engaged. We got engaged this year in Thailand.
'The first year we met we both got tattoos on our fingers, we knew, I knew she was going to be my soulmate for the rest of my life. Myra makes me feel safe, she’s motherly which I love.'
