She's been enjoying some quality family time while accompanying her partner Sam Worthington on the set of his latest film in Vancouver.

But just days after returning to the US, it was back to work for Lara Bingle.

The new mother, who only just gave birth to baby Rocket Zot in March, was pictured after wrapping up a shoot at Dune studios in New York on Monday, and looked super trim in sleek business wear.

Slipping her newly slimmed down post-pregnancy body into a black pencil skirt, Lara literally stopped traffic on the streets of the Big Apple.

The 28-year-old teamed the form-fitting design with an open collared shirt tied at the ends to emphasise her tiny waist and a chic neck scarf.

The beauty's cropped blonde locks were styled into her signature smooth and straight bob and were tossed over to one side in a messy side part.

Since rising to fame as a bikini model, Lara has transitioned from the modelling game to reality television and now has her very own business.

Last year she launched a line of tanning products, The Base, and appears to be well and truly back to work.

The new mother has been laying low in the past few months however, as she enjoys her time with baby boy Rocket.

The mother and son have been by new dad Sam's side in Canada since June where he has been filming The Shack, in which he plays a grieving father who faces 'God' after his daughter is kidnapped.

But despite the much needed time off, Lara didn't appear at all rusty when she returned to work.

The blonde beauty was very much in her element on the day and was later pictured getting into a black car.

Lara, who has changed her surname to Worthington on social media, shared an image of herself in the same outfit three weeks ago.

She was seen holding a soft serve ice cream and showing off the gold band on her left ring finger in the snap.

While the jet-setting model has already acquainted her young son, who is named after her late father, to the sights of America and Canada, she has yet to bring him home to Australia.

That all looks set to change however, with news that Sam is set to star in Mel Gibson's new movie Hacksaw Ridge, which will be filmed in the western suburbs of Sydney.

Lara's mother Sharon and brother Joshua still live in the harbour city where the stunner grew up.

Filming on the war flick is set to begin next month and will also star The Internship's Vince Vaughn and The Amazing Spider-Man's Andrew Garfield.
