Mad about you! Elisabeth Moss looks elegant in LBD as she is honoured with her own caricature at iconic NYC restaurant

Elisabeth Moss was honoured with her own caricature on Tuesday, joining the legion of star caricatures lining the walls of Sardi's restaurant in New York.

The 32-year-old actress looked elegant in a little black dress as she ecstatically received her cartoon tribute.

Starring in the Broadway show The Heidi Chronicles, Elisabeth's image has now joined the unofficial Broadway Hall of Fame.

The Mad Men star brightened up her look with red lipstick and strappy red heels, with her blonde hair styled in luscious waves.

Her caricature appears a bit more business-like, wearing a structured blue outer garment, with straight hair, partially swept back.

Elisabeth's picture is joining the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Tom Hanks, Chris Rock, Cyndi Lauper, Sienna Miller, Daniel Radcliffe, Bobby Canavale, and many more.

Elisabeth is being honoured for her work in the revival of the Broadway play, The Heidi Chronicles, which first opened to critical acclaim in 1988.

She stars as a feminist art historian alongside Orange Is the New Black's Jason Biggs and Bryce Pinkham of A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder.

Jason plays her love interest while Bryce plays her gay best friend.

When asked what surprised them about Elisabeth, Bryce told The New York Daily News: 'She's such a good leader.

'She's led our company in a very egalitarian way. Watching her act, I think, "How are you doing that?" It's not fair that she makes it seem so effortless.'

Jason added: 'Seriously, I'm a huge fan of her and Mad Men.'

The Heidi Chronicles will have its final performance on Sunday, May 3 at the Music Box Theatre.

Previews began on February 23 and the play officially opened on March 19.

The Heidi Chronicles is closing early, as it did not perform well at the box office.

'We were very well reviewed, and the performances were remarkable, but people didn't come to see it,' lead producer Jeffrey Richards told The New York Times.

'Whether it was how crazy busy it was at this time of year or the consumer being asked to choose between so many shows, Heidi Chronicles was not at the top of their list.
