Jenelle Evans has once again called it quits on her famously tumultuous relationship with Nathan Griffith.

The 23-year-old had become engaged to Nathan - with whom she shares one-year-old son Kaiser - in January, though called things off after the two faced domestic violence issues.

However, they reunited again in June, during which time the MTV star was spotted wearing her ring as the pair celebrated their son's birthday.

But on Tuesday Entertainment Tonight claimed that Jenelle had once again called things off with her fiance, with the star clarifying to the publication that she was, in fact, single.

'I'm enjoying being a mom,' she said, adding: 'I just celebrated my first son's sixth birthday this weekend and it went fantastic.'

And the reality star maintained she was in no rush to find anyone new either, saying: 'I am not looking to date anyone at the moment. I am focusing on myself.'

Jenelle told the publication that she had actually ended things two weeks ago, and had given Nathan back the ring after he allegedly started an argument with her over him not being able to go out.

However, just last week she shared a family photo from her graduation from Miller-Motte Technical College which included Nathan.

'Just a little depressed' On Tuesday, as news broke of the split, the reality star admitted feeling a little down as she shared this text from a friend encouraging her to 'Just keep swimming swimming swimming'

In the caption Jenelle gushed: 'Thanks to my family for being here as my biggest support system and able to push me through it !!!'

Though on Sunday when she celebrated son Jace's sixth birthday with a zombie-themed party Nathan was noticeably absent from the pictures she shared on Instagram.

Jace is Jenelle's son from a previous relationship with her ex, Andrew Lewis. Nathan also has a daughter, Emery, from a previous relationship.

Jenelle shared a series of snaps on Instagram - none of which included Nathan - and captioned one: 'My baby turns 6 today! #happybirthdayjace.'

'Ladies' night' It seemed Jenelle's friends certainly had her back as she began to work through the breakup, as later on Tuesday she shared a few pictures alongside three friends for a glam girls' night

Then on Tuesday she did admit to feeling down, as she shared a screenshot of a text conversation with her friend, in which she said she was 'just a little depressed.'

Her friend commented: 'Just keep swimming swimming swimming,' referencing a scene from 2003's Finding Nemo.

Jenelle posted the screenshot on Twitter, noting: 'Exactly. [hands raised in praise emoji] best advice ever, lol.'

It seems her friends have her back following the split, as later on Tuesday Jenelle shared a series of photographs from 'ladies' night,' as she said glammed up next to three girlfriends.

On Monday she also tweeted out to her 1.14M followers, ensuring them that through all of this, she is still strong.

She wrote: 'I'm so glad I'm as strong as I am. Despite everything I can wipe away my tears and focus on me and got a great workout! #StayFocused.'

Us Weekly previously reported on the pair's reconciliation following their first split at the end of June.

Jenelle had been spotted wearing Nathan's ring during a Teen Mom 2 press day in New York City, where she shared that the couple had reunited the previous weekend when they met to celebrate Kaiser's birthday.

Although they only got engaged during a St. Thomas vacation in January, Jenelle and Nathan initially split up after his March arrest for domestic violence and then her similar domestic attack in May.

The charges against Jenelle - who allegedly attacked her boyfriend on May 26 - were soon dropped by Nathan, leading to the reconciliation.

Ever since she was first profiled as part of MTV's 16 And Pregnant series, Jenelle has had a string of arrests and legal troubles, many of them related to drugs or fighting.

A first arrest for drug possession and for breaking and entering came in October 2010, followed by similar brushes with the law in March 2011, August 2011, January 2012, April 2013, and December 2013.

Jenelle was originally featured as a high-school senior and the mother of Jace - now six years old - her son by one-time boyfriend Andrew Lewis.

Jace has lived mostly with Jenelle's mother Barbara Evans, even after Kaiser's birth. Barbara actually currently has custody of Jace, but Jenelle is in the process of trying to regain custody of him.
