The Love, Rosie star teamed her low-key outfit with a loose-fitting khaki military-inspired jacket, while adding height to her diminutive frame with a pair of black leather peep-toe heeled mules.

Toting her belongings in a black leather fringe-detail tassled handbag, the British-born beauty completed her ensemble with a pair of retro tortoiseshell shades to shelter her eyes from the California sun.

Lily wore her glossy brunette locks in their signature pixie crop and opted for natural make-up to complement her perfect porcelain complexion, while completing her look with a slick of vampy berry lipstick.

It looked as though the star's shopping trip was a success, and she was carrying a bag of fashion treats back to her car.

On Monday, Lily looked worlds away from her usual red carpets and film sets as she drove her Range Rover to a West Hollywood car wash.

Dressed down to run her errands, Lily paired leggings with a slogan sweatshirt as she was spotted waiting patiently for her car with other customers.

Lily went low key for her day off, showing off her trim figure in a pair of grey cropped leggings teamed with flip flops.

The actress added a black sweater emblazoned with the slogan 'Unicorn Tears' and carried a large black and gold bag.

Hiding behind some shades, she left her brunette crop loose and tousled.

After dropping off her car for a good clean, Lily sat on a bench outside the busy car wash with fellow customers, before grabbing some cash to tip the attendant.

The star, daughter of Phil Collins, is making the most of some down time as she prepares to start work on her new movie.

She's signed up for romantic comedy How to be Single, alongside Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson, Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens and Rebel Wilson.

Drew Barrymore is producing the 2016 film which is based on Liz Tuccillo's novel of the same name, while Lily will be reuniting with Christian Ditter for the project, the director of her 2014 film Love, Rosie.

With Dakota in the lead, the story centres on a woman living in New York and searching for love.

The rest of the big name cast play a group of New Yorkers whose relationships and break ups are explored over the course of 10 years.
