The star was seen emerging after a gruelling fitness session in New York on Tuesday, as she continued her mission to maintain her ample curves - and world-renowned derriere.

Looking effortless and slightly tired after her workout, the youthful 46-year-old also made sure to flaunt her fantastic figure, proving that her hard work is really paying off.

Wearing a pair of cropped black gym leggings, the Booty hitmaker drew attention to her lithe pins.

The tight pale grey top looked perfect for her session, while also revealing her hard-earned physique to the fullest.

It was no doubt a welcome moment of 'me time' for the busy star, who has recently been filming for her upcoming new TV series, Shades of Blue.

Jennifer was a real trouper and didn't baulk about taking a 'spill' down a flight of hard brick steps when her character confronted a gun-wielding perpetrator.

The star - who plays New York detective Harlee Santos in the steamy NBC drama - was seen diving head first to the bottom of the steps where crew members had placed some strategic padding.

Jennifer tried the scene a few different ways and was seen falling backwards while gripping the iron handrail, her golden-highlighted curls tossing every which way.

All that dance training has come in handy for the musician and actor, because J-Lo just kept rolling with the stumbling scene until the point where her character was assisted by a male counterpart.

She is later trapped by the FBI into informing on her 'brothers' and will 'have to walk the fine line between love, loyalty, honor and betrayal.'

Jennifer explained her character's dilemma in a Shades Of Blue clip released by NBC: 'Good people do questionable things all the time.'

'At certain times, doing the wrong thing is the right thing,' she added.

The series also stars Ray Liotta, Warren Kole, Dayo Okeniyi, Drea de Matteo, Hampton Fluker, Vincent Laresca, and Sarah Jeffery.

Shades Of Blue is expected to air 13 episodes in the winter of 2016.

Meanwhile, the mother-of-two will also return as judge for American Idol's final season, and she has a 2016 Las Vegas residency show to prepare for as well.
