'It was sweet and curdled': Gordon Ramsay reveals he was served breast milk Mac and Cheese during Master Chef auditions

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he was once served a plate of mac and cheese made with breast milk.

The famous TV chef made the confession during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden as he spoke about the worst meals he has tried on his various food shows.

Corden brought up the subject in style as he said: ‘You must have eaten some s*** in your time. Come on, some of those restaurants you go into, what’s the worst thing you’ve eaten?’

Ramsay answered: ‘Good question. I must consume about a litre and a half of Pepto Bismol every month.

‘Mac and Cheese, last year in the auditions for Masterchef. It was sweet and I thought this lady made it with almond milk.

He continued: ‘I said, “The cheese on top is nice, but how did you make this thing?” She said, “It's my breast milk.”’

Naturally, Corden and fellow guest TV host Julie Chen were left shocked by the surprising ingredient but Ramsay seemed to defend the dish.

He added: ‘It wouldn’t have been so bad but she didn’t put any salt in it so it was just like sweet, curdled…’

The 49-year-old TV chef is notoriously foul-mouthed at work, but he has previously insisted that he doesn't transgress around his house, because of the presence of his children, 13-year-old Tilly, 15-year-old twins Jack and Holly, and Megan, 16.

He shared: ‘My kids know not to use naughty words! I don't swear at home.’

Tilly - Gordon's youngest daughter - claims she's a better cook than her acclaimed father and he says her attitude is indicative of their dynamic.

He told The Sun newspaper: ‘There's always lots of competitiveness in our family.

‘We have playful rivalry every day in our family.’
