Alexander Skarsgard, 38, attended the screening of Diary Of A Teenage Girl with his onscreen lover Bel Powley in New York on Wednesday.

In the film Bel, 23, plays 15-year-old Minnie Goetze who loses her virginity to - and embarks on an affair with - her mother's boyfriend, played by the 6' 4" Swede.

The True Blood wore a very different outfit than the one he had sported to the San Francisco premiere on Monday.

This time it was a slightly more demure dark slacks and black shoes combo, with a black button-down shirt.

It was in stark contrast to the floor-length shimmering gold gown he wore with heels, full make-up and an enormous blonde wig he opted for earlier in the week.

Although dwarfed beside him, Powley looked closer to her real life age of 23 in a chic black drop waist dress with some killer studded heels.

Also at the Sony Pictures Classics screening at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema was Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Revenge star Margarita Levieva and Hercules himself, Kevin Sorbo.

Fringe's Ari Graynor, Real Housewife of New York Kelly Bensimon and Jon Hamm's girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt also turned up, with Kelly flashing her stomach and Jennifer and Ari sporting pretty summer dresses.

Hedwig And The Angry Inch star Miriam Shor, who was probably disappointed she didn't get to see Skarsgard in Drag, rounded off the guest list.

The author of the book on which the film is based, Phoebe Gloeckner, also made an appearance, along with the film's other stars Abby Wait and Miranda Bailey.

Diary Of A Teenage Girl won the Grand Prix of Generation 14plus section - for films with themes centered on teens or older youths - for best feature length film at this year's Berlin Film Festival.

It goes on general release in the US and UK on Friday.
