'You wanna hurt me?': Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are a warring couple in first glimpse of their intense period drama By The Sea
She recently revealed she found the fight scenes with her husband challenging in her latest directorial effort By The Sea.
And in a first glimpse at Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's first collaboration in over 10 years, the dramatic scenes speak for themselves.
Playing a warring couple in the 1970s, the trailer shows verbal and physical altercations between the duo which escalate in tension during the one-minute clip.

The trailer, coincidentally released the same day it was revealed that Pitt's ex Jennifer Aniston has tied the knot with Justin Theroux, opens in a dream-like fashion with fleeting scenes.
The couple are shown arriving on a picturesque Mediterranean island and settling into a grandiose ocean-side villa.
Jolie plays Vanessa, a former dancer and Pitt plays Roland, a writer - and both appear lost in their own thoughts in sad scenes as Harry Nilsson's Perfect Day plays over the trailer.
Things soon speed up into a frenzy of fiery interactions, with Pitt asking his wife 'You wanna hurt me?' as Jolie snaps back 'You're nothing.'

In character: Pitt, 51, plays a writer named Roland who is married to Jolie's Vanessa
'Hurt me' Pitt insists before Jolie slaps him hard around the face.
The clip concludes with Pitt walking out on his wife who lies still on the floor with no clue as to what exactly happened to her.
The couple first starred together in 2005's Mr & Mrs Smith which is reportedly when they fell in love.

Jolie writes, directs and stars in By The Sea - which is released in November - and the actress recently told People: 'It was hardest [when] I was directing our fight scenes,'
The 40-year-old actress opened up about the challenge of having to be 'inside and outside' the traumatic scenes she was directing.
The movie is set in France during in the 1970s and tells the story of two people trying to work through issues in their relationship.
The Unbroken director explained that working with her spouse of 11 months in such an intense way brought them closer together.

She said: 'I understand and appreciate his creative process and his work ethic even more than before,'
The statuesque beauty described the movie - which was shot in the Mediterranean last year as focusing on three couples all at different stages in their lives.
She explained: 'And at its center are the questions of what happened to Roland and Vanessa and why they are in the place they are now.'

After marrying in Château Miraval, France on August 23, 2014, Jolie and Pitt jetted to Malta with their six children to shoot scenes for the upcoming romantic drama.
The Hollywood couple fell in love during the filming of action romance Mr & Mrs Smith while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston - although they deny there was any infidelity.
Brangelina first went public with their romance in 2006 when she fell pregnant with daughter Shiloh and the duo became engaged in 2012 after seven years together.
Meanwhile, Aniston wed Theroux in a ceremony at their Bel Air home on Wednesday before jetting off to Bora Bora on their honeymoon.
By The Sea is released November 13.
