'LOVE YOU!': Kylie Minogue pops a large bottle of champagne as she thanks her fans after reaching ONE MILLION Instagram followers

She documents a large portion of her life on social media, so it’s hardly surprising that Kylie Minogue celebrated reaching one million Instagram followers by appropriately posting a smouldering picture to thank her fans.

Unable to hide her smile, the 47-year-old songstress could be seen popping a celebratory bottle of champagne which had the milestone number emblazoned across it.

The image, which was posted on Wednesday on the popular photo-sharing application, was simply captioned: ‘One million #lovers.....LOVE YOU!!!!’

Elsewhere, it has been reported that Kylie is halfway through recording a Christmas album, which will be her 13th studio album, set to be released on a one-album deal through Warner/Parlophone.

A source revealed: 'Kylie is halfway through recording it. It's believed all the tracks will be disco-influenced.'

The I Should Be So Lucky hitmaker - whose last album Kiss Me Once performed poorly when released last year - recently parted ways with her record label Parlophone following a partnership of over 15 years but is hoping she can return to the charts with her latest collection, which will feature a variety of covers and original tunes.

The source told The Sun newspaper: 'It's likely the album will include a mixture of festive classics and even some original material.

'She wants to take her time on a new release but can't be away from the charts for long, so a Christmas album is the obvious choice.'
