A Washington think tank claims that Iran might be trying to 'sanitize' the Parchin site, pictured, before nuclear weapons inspections, which were part of the deal which lifted economic sanctions. Steven Racette, 58, (at left with son DJ) was 'shell-shocked' when he was forced to resign after a his 36-year career with the New York State prison system. Photographer Ivette Ivens, originally from Lithuania but now living in Chicago, has documented the 'out-of-control cuteness' of the Dilan and Farley. The 25-year-old mom described the relationship as 'the most loving connection'. Baby Dilan and Farley are both eight months old, and even share a birthday. They are completely inseparable and nap together, eat together and even bathe together. According to Ivette, Farley is a great help around the house, cleaning up Dilan's mess and making him laugh.

Sneaking out for a quick call of nature, one camper got the surprise of her life when she came across an elephant drinking out of one of the campsite lavatories in Botswana. Despite the mess left behind by humans, the tusked toilet drinker appeared unfazed by the interruption and continued taking a few long sips of water from the toilet. It is thought the elephants in the park prefer drinking the water in the loos and showers at the camp because the water in their water hole is deemed too salty.

With shaking legs, this is the moment (pictured above) that a baby Java Mouse Deer takes its first very tentative steps into the world at Natura Artis Magistra Zoo in the Netherlands. The unsteady newborn is currently about the size of a hamster.It will grow to a maximum weight of only about 5 pounds (2.5 kg) in adulthood, and its legs will be no bigger than the circumference of a pencil.

Benjamin Millam has released a video of his cat 'hunting' RFID enabled balls (pictured left) which, when delivered to a specially built automatic feeding machine (pictured right), allow the cat to get its reward for the hunt. The hack uses an Arduino microcontroller and simple RFID chips to automate the process.

The 37th International Balloon Fiesta launched in Bristol with half a million visitors expected. Among the 103 balloons in the sky today was one of the largest Tibetan flags, which caused a stir ahead of its first flight in the UK. An email claiming to be from the Chinese Embassy asked the organisers not to ban the balloon called Tashi, which means good fortune for Tibet.

Plastics engineer Jono Williams, from Linton, New Zealand, spent $50,000 (£32,000) on materials and worked on the Skysphere for 3,000 hours after coming up with the idea over a few beers.
