'It represents who I am and that equals issues': Nicole Richie pokes fun at her father Lionel as she recreates his iconic video bust in cheeky TV show

Her popular show, Candidly Nicole, has always shown her typically wacky behaviour.

And Nicole Richie managed to poke some fun at her famous father, Lionel Richie, in series two of her VH1 show after revealing her unique take at his iconic bust from 1983 Hello music video.

The 33-year-old become an artist for the show and put her creations on display in a show to benefit feline AIDS.

Nicole’s sculpture was titled, ‘Issues’, and looked similar to the clay head from his iconic video but with a pink wig attached.

Naturally, her artwork inspired by her father was the main highlight and the reality star was quick to explain the thought behind her pop art bust.

Speaking to her bemused father, she said: ‘It's a combination of your head with my hair, really represents who I am and that equals issues.’

The Endless Love hitmaker kindly agreed to pay for the unique bust for a cool $17,000 but was then left open-mouthed when Nicole destroyed the statue following a Marina Abromovic-style performance titled, ‘Why, Poppa, Why?’ 

Earlier in the show, Nicole also attended a still life class to create artwork for her show and got the giggles when the male model completely disrobed.

She even took pictures and selfies with the nude model in the background before getting kicked out of the class.

The show follows Richie in an honest portrayal of her life as she navigates business ventures.

Married to former Good Charlotte lead vocalist Joel Madden, Richie has been rumored to be on shaky ground in the marriage department recently.

The TV star, who has two kids with Madden – Harlow (aged seven) and Sparrow (aged five) – was spotted just over a week ago without her wedding band.
