Abigail Breslin wears a slogan T-shirt and ripped jeans as she steps out with a male companion for dinner in West Hollywood

Abigail Breslin cut a low-key figure as she headed out to dinner with a male companion on Wednesday evening.

The 19-year-old Oscar nominated star looked like a true rock diva in a black cape, fitted slogan T-shirt and ripped skinny jeans, as she stepped out in West Hollywood.

Wearing killer dark red platform heels, Abigail, whose blonde locks tumbled over her shoulders looked effortlessly glam as she dined out at Craig's restaurant.

Ramping up her inner rock chick, Abigail went all out by teaming her look with gothic drop earrings and ripped jeans.

She looked fresh-faced with a frosty pink lipstick, and kept the focus on her eyes with a thick smudged black smokey eye to complete her edgy look.

While it is not known if the couple were romantically linked, MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Abigail for further comment.

Cover up in a cape like Abigail's

In the cloak of night, Abigail Breslin emerged from LA hotspot, Craig's, wearing this to-die- for cape by Lavish Alice.

There's nothing devastating about this moment at all except her dashing smart sense of style and, of course--that her coat is now sold out.

But before you shed any tears over it, just know that there are plenty of great supplements from the virtual high street to fill the void in our edit below.

But before we get there- can we discuss?

Capes have made a slow and steady comeback over the past few seasons and this year we're seeing a restructured version that is a bit more modern. Designers have done away with all the pomp and circumstance of an Edwardian style cape and streamlined the silhouette to something more structured and tailored.

And while Abigail's sophisticated cape/ coat may be sold out--we've scoured the internet to find you some great options in our edit below. Have a look because it's never too early to prepare for Fall.

Clutching her mobile phone and a swarve Chanel purse, Abigail looked set to impress in the fashion stakes.

Abigail was last linked to All Time Low rocker Jack Barakat, two years ago.

The actress is currently gearing up for her next big role, joining the cast of Fox's Scream Queens from American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy.

Abigail knew she'd found the perfect project as she's a self-professed major horror film fanatic.

She said: 'I am one of those people who will watch something and then get angry about it if it's not right. I'm intense, so I can totally relate.

That's what I love about this is I feel like horror and comedy are both genres that have super, super strong followings and super strong fan bases.

'It's kind of cool that we have…it's a perfect mixture of both on our show and so I feel like a lot of different people can relate to it and get into it.'
