Make-up free Lady Gaga channels unusually low-key style in ripped jeans and a baggy jumper to take model dog Asia for a walk

She is best known for her outlandish outfits and kooky fashion choices although she's now shown she can pull off low-key looks also.

Lady Gaga looked gorgeous as she stepped out in New York on Wednesday to take her French bulldog Miss Asia for a walk around Central Park.

The 29-year-old pop star, who is celebrating after her cute pup was named the face of high-end fashion brand Coach, wore a low-key outfit for the late night stroll.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, rocked a pair of baggy, distressed jeans with a navy oversized sweat shirt.

She added a touch of A-List glamour to the look with a pair of huge cat-eye sunglasses and wore a pair of pointed black loafer-style pumps.

Gaga wore her peroxide blonde long bob swept to the side with a dramatic parting.

Miss Asia is no stranger to the modelling world after featuring on the front of Harper's Bazaar magazine last year and joined her owner in an advertisement for costmetic giant, Shiseido.

Images were released last month of the pup's Coach campaign.

The dog was pictured perching on a director's chair with the name 'Miss Asia Kinney' emblazoned on the back, as she has clearly been given the surname of Gaga's fiancee Taylor Kinney.

Her trip to New York comes days after she cooked up a storm for the Chicago Fire Department.

She took to Instagram to share with her 9.5 million followers that she was preparing a feast for the fireman.

In a caption she writes: 'Making ziti for the Chicago Fire Department! I hope they're not too busy today, but this should fill their bellies I hope they like it!'
