Most people would be forgiven for letting themselves go somewhat in their forties.

But Rachel Hunter clearly does not have to worry about this if the fabulous form she displayed while out shopping in Hollywood on Friday is any guide.

Elle Macpherson may be known as The Body, but her fellow Oceanic supermodel certainly has legs that are at least her equal.

The Kiwi clotheshorse showcased her pins in a pleasingly skimpy black playsuit, while its off-the-shoulder styling also highlighted her toned upper body.

She completed her look with a pair of trendy sunglasses and sandals, adding a dash of colour to her ensemble with a rainbow-hued handbag.

Rachel was certainly turning heads as she sauntered along the sidewalk, a fact that certainly seemed to put a smile on the saucy blonde's face.

The mother-of-two's outfit also proved to be utilitarian as well as aesthetically pleasing, as she had no trouble whatsoever pushing a shopping trolley into the supermarket or loading her car boot.

It seems she had a big appetite, for she bought 12 cans of baked beans, as well as several other bags of groceries.

Swimsuit model Rachel rose to fame in 1989 as a Sports Illustrated pin-up, before marrying rocker Rod Stewart a year later in 1990 when she was 21 and he was 45.

They separated in 1999 and their divorce was finalized in 2006.

After splitting from the Anglo-Scots beefcake she has dated a veritable smorgasbord of stars. including Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, fading pop star Robbie Williams, bald Die Hard hunk Bruce Willis and she was even linked to Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis.
