On Friday, Zendaya Coleman was a standout when she walked the streets of New York City dressed in a colourful Vivienne Westwood pant suit.

The 18-year-old actress and singer turned heads adorned in bright orange and dark hues which she tried to keep casual with a simple grey V-neck T-shirt.

Zendaya donned a Union Jack print suit from the British designer's latest Autumn/Winter collection.

The aspiring shoe designer accentuated her long legs with a pair of black Christina Louboutin heels that highlighted the multicoloured skinny trousers.

The My Jam singer accessorized with a Faux Crocodile Circle Bag also by Vivienne Westwood.

She wore her long tresses in loose braided waves with a middle part and completed her look with minimal makeup and delicate gold chain necklace.

The recent high school graduate - who made headlines with her spat with Giuliana Rancic in 2014 - is taking her style tips and tricks accessible for her many young fans and followers with an upcoming shoe collection.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Zendaya shared the first look at her new footwear line Sole of Daya.

The image showed a wide array of designs including gladiator sandals, stilettos, workout trainers, high-top sneakers and metallic lounge sandals.

In a coy caption, Zendaya wrote: ‘Oh and I'm a shoe designer.’

Speaking about her new line with FootwearNews.com, the starlet said: 'I wanted shoes that were going to speak for themselves. If [consumers] didn't know who the heck I was, which a lot of people don’t, they are still going to like the shoes.'

'I don't want people buying because they're Zendaya shoes,' she continued. 'They are for everyone.'

The former Disney Channel darling also took to Twitter to dish on her new line, which she claimed will be affordable at under $200 a pair.
