Amy Duggar wears white as she is thrown a bridal shower by Dillards department store... after choosing shop for her online registry

Amy Duggar may not be getting a televised wedding like some of her 19 Kids And Counting cousins but she's still receiving some star treatment in the run up to her September 6 nuptials.

Amy, 28, was the guest of honor at a bridal shower hosted by the Dillards department store at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayatteville on Saturday.

The musician, who was accompanied by fiance Dillon King, wore a white and ivory jumpsuit for the special occasion where she was feted by 300 guests, according to Us Weekly

Dillards apparently reached out to Amy after it was reported that she'd chosen the posh department store for her online bridal registry.

She and Dillon greeted fans who showed up to celebrate their happy news with them and enjoy a slice of cake provided by the store.

The niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar posted photos on her Instagram page showing the elaborately iced three-tier dessert with sugar pink-and-white roses on the top.

Alongside the photo, Amy wrote: 'Any day that involves cake is a very very good day! thank you for everyone who attended! And a special thanks to the sweet ladies at Dillard's!'

The day before the shower, Amy and Dillon posted a video selfie inviting folks to come by and see them, making ir clear they weren't asking anyone for gifts or money but just to help celebrate their engagement.

Amy told Us Weekly that it was a stress-free occasion.

'We gave them a list of people and they were like, ‘The more the merrier,’' she said. 'It was nice I didn’t have to give out invitations or any of that. They did all that.'

'They went over and beyond,' she added.

Amy and Dillon have known each other a longtime but only started dating in November 2014.

The aspiring county singer revealed she really wasn't attracted to him romantically at all in the beginning.

'I had no intention of ever dating him,' Amy said. 'Never flirted with him. Never kissed him. Nothing! Until one night all of our friends went camping and I kind of looked at him different.”

'He’s been my best friend for seven years,' she went on. 'He makes me laugh more than any person on the planet.'

The bride-to-be originally wanted a courthouse wedding but said her uncle Jim Bob talked her out of it.

'Uncle Jim Bob is more traditional than I am and he was just like, ‘Now, Amy, a wedding is all about family and friends and coming together,' she recalled.

She added:  'I’m an only child so my mom [Deanna] was like, ’You have to have a wedding, I have to cry at your wedding. It’s a thing!''

Some of the things listed on Amy's registry include a decanter and a 500-thread-count down comforter by Lauren Ralph Lauren, a green and white polka dot Kate Spade Sault melamine plate, a Kate Spade New York diner stripe oven mitt and Kate Spade New York gold dot highball glasses.

Amy is also asking for Oneida flatware set, Mikasa glass set, Towie serving plates, and Calphalon nonstick cookware.

She'd also like a Cuisinart Electric Knife and Cuisinart Ice Cream/Yogurt Maker and a KitchenAid Artisan Design 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in Antique Copper.

Amy and Dillon, who announced her engagement in July, were hoping to get TLC to foot the bill for their Septemberweding.

After all, Amy had her own TLC special, A Duggar Leaves Home.

But the couple's dreams of a TV wedding were dashed when TLC declined to broadcast their big day, Dillon explained in an Instagram post,

TLC canceled 19 Kids And Counting in May amid elder son Josh Duggar's child molestation scandal - during which his sisters Jill and Jessa were revealed to be among his victims.

While they 'were very excited about having the opportunity to share our life experience,' the situation has 'all changed',' Dillon wrote.

His comments - which have since been deleted but were published on RadarOnline - were as follows: 'TLC [called] us yesterday stating they have decided that they will NOT be filming our wedding and they are "glad they got to work with us".'

'So, Amy and myself apologize that we will not be able to share our special day with you all on the TLC network.'

Sharing a screenshot of a YouTube account, Dillon explained that fans would be kept up-to-date on the wedding via the popular media platform instead.

'YouTube channel has been started. Be sure to go subscribe for upcoming videos, updates and crazy stuff that will only be posted on the channel,' Dillon said in the caption.
