'Been called a trashy no talent s**t': Chloe Lattanzi hits back at online trolls... after wearing corset and chaps in raunchy new techno video

Chloe Lattanzi has reacted angrily to hurtful comments posted on social media following the release of a new techno collaboration with her mother, Grease legend Olivia Newton-John.

The 29-year-old is making another attempt at chart success with You Have To Believe, a catchy remix of hit single Magic – originally recorded by Olivia in 1980 for the soundtrack to musical fantasy Xanadu.

But a promotional video accompanying the upbeat single, in which she sports a raunchy corset and leather chaps while featuring alongside her 66-year-old mother, has prompted a barrage of abusive comments from online trolls.

Taking to picture messaging service Instagram, where she commands 4,113 followers, Chloe confirmed she had been savaged for her appearance.

‘I wanted to say thank you to everyone who shows me love and kindness,’ she said.

‘I'm sorry if I don't get back to all of your comments or questions, I'm just trying to avoid looking at any hateful messages.

‘Got my first negative comment calling me a trashy no talent slut. And I almost forgot that there are really weird hateful people out there! So just know I love you and value your comments.’

She added: 'Success and happiness is a magnet for jealousy and hate. So just remember not to let anyone bring you down when you are following your dreams, because they are jealous that you are doing something with your life.

'Let's all celebrate each others success, talents, beauty, and intelligence! Not fear or covet it. Remember that if someone try's to hurt you it is only because they want what you have. Because they are so filled with self hatred and have no self esteem.

'Feel sorry for them but do not allow them to affect our life. Remember , a powerful woman/man who goes after their dreams Is a scary thing for some people. And no normal person will ever try to hurt you or make you feel bad about yourself. Only a sicko will.'

The lengthy message, posted on Tuesday morning, concludes with a warning to her abusers.

Share this post if you think it will help someone you know,' she wrote. 'Also If u are a sicko that's gonna hate your comment will be deleted right away and not seen by me. So don't wAste your abundant free time.'

Chloe went on to share a motivational post by Emily Sears in which the stunning Australian model thanks fans for leaving positive comments about her body.

'Another strong woman not letting any haters bring her down!' wrote Chloe. 'Proud of her body and changing the game! Watching this gorgeous creature get body shamed just makes me so mad and want to put a stop to online jealousy and hate.

'When u r beautiful and powerful people wanna make you doubt that! They are scared of you! I love you @emilysears I tottally get it! People so jealous!!! And you so fabulous! #thickissexy #allshapes #allsizes #myrolemodel.'

The mother-daughter duo, who attended the red carpet launch of their video at the weekend, have been working on the track for a number of months.

Earlier this year, Olivia confirmed to news.com.au that she and Chloe had been in the studio.

'It's now called You Have To Believe and it's a dance remake of Magic with [house producer] Dave Aude,' she said. 'She's starting again, rewriting songs, talking to producers. It’s very exciting.'
