She recently revealed how she lost 60lbs of baby weight by working out three times a day.

And on Monday night Ciara showed off her impressive figure while stepping out in New York City to take in the nightlife.

The 29-year-old wore a figure hugging dress that displayed her every curve and contour while balancing in stiletto heels.

The gorgeous singer wore her dark hair in flowing waves over her shoulders as she stepped into the back of a waiting SUV.

In the September issue of Shape, Ciara spilled on how she got her stunning figure back after giving birth to one-year-old son Future Zahir.

'Once I got back into it, I worked out two or three times daily,' the dedicated star gushed, of losing 60 pounds in only four months.

Ciara was engaged to rapper Future from October 2013 to August 2014, and the former couple welcomed son Future Zahir Wilburn in May 2014.

Of the pregnancy, Ciara gushed: 'When I was pregnant with Future, one thing I learned quickly was, don't ever let a pregnant lady be hungry, because when I was, I was like the Tasmanian Devil!'

'I indulged in all the good food the world has to offer. After he was born - when I couldn't exercise yet - I kept eating, and I gained 60 pounds. But as soon as the doctor said I could start training again, I was on the treadmill the very next day.'

The Dance Like We're Making Love singer visits the same trainer as the Kardashians - Gunnar Peterson - and shared that she'd see him for her 'first one-hour training session' of the day.

She explained that the two do an 'hour-long plyometric cardio circuit using boxing elements,' which she loves because 'you're getting three-in-one training: It's hitting your muscles; it's a cardiovascular workout; and it's a mental exercise.'

'You have to be superfocused when you're boxing. After I've done a few rounds, I feel as if I can conquer the world,' Ciara gushed.

However, that's not all the determined gym goer would do. She continued: 'Then I'd have two more cardio sessions later in the day. That, along with a really clean eating plan, was how I lost 60 pounds in four months. It was a very intense program, and I was extremely focused on it.'

Ciara also talked about managing her diet when it came to getting back in shape, noting how important it was to just 'give myself a break.'

'When I'm on a strict eating regimen, at some point I have to have French fries, a cheeseburger, and some pizza,' she said, adding: 'And Oreos and vanilla ice cream!'

She also cited water as an important key in helping her lose the weight, saying she would tell herself that 'water is my medicine and that to stay well, I have to drink a gallon of it every day.'

The Goodies hitmaker also has a trick for controlling cravings. She tells herself: 'The food isn't going anywhere.'

The mother-of-one explained: 'You know those days when you think you have to have a plate of pasta right now? When I'm trying to be good, I take a minute to ask myself, 'Do you really need to eat all this crazy stuff? It will still be around if you want it later.''

In the interview, the hard-working star also gushed: 'I truly believe that if you put your goals in writing, speak them out loud, and work for them, they will happen.'

And it seems to be true for the performer, who in the last year has released her sixth studio album - Jackie - starred on NBC's I Can Do That!, gone on tour, and welcomed her son, Future.

Ciara has also been happily dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson since April, after splitting with ex fiance Future in August 2014.

However, devout Christian Russell says he and Ciara are not having sex, as the pair have agreed to do things 'Jesus' way.'

'She was on tour and I was looking at her in the mirror, and she was sitting there. And God spoke to me and said ‘I need you to lead her,'' he said during an appearance at The Rock Church in San Diego in early July.

'Can we love each other without [sex]? If you can really love someone without that then you can really love somebody. I ain't gonna lie to y'all now. I need y'all to pray for us... If there's a 10, she's a 15,' the athlete said.

Recently, Russell gushed about his beloved to Access Hollywood: 'She's one of a kind. We've been talking every day ever since. It's been going good.'

In the spread for Shape, Ciara stuck to a classic black and white theme as she showed off her hard-earned figure.

Happy couple: The performer has been dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson since April, and frequently shares snaps of the duo on her Instagram account

On the cover she showed off her toned pins and slim, muscular arms in a fitted white tank coupled with a pair of black underwear, as she wore her long, raven locks styled in loose waves.

Her hands were wrapped, as they are in an inside shot from the spread, in which the performer seems to be ready for one of her beloved boxing sessions in a sleeveless black hoodie, a black one-piece with dramatic cut-outs, and coordinating boots.

For this shot she has her long tresses pulled back into a ponytail, as she looks off-camera, seemingly concentrating on her next move.

She models a similar look in a third image, one perhaps meant to be post-workout, as the star glistened in the sultry shot.

The final two pictures showed Ciara flaunting her trim figure in more glam looks, such as a fitted white crop top and shimmery skirt with a thigh-high slit.

A smoky eye and shimmery pink lipstick finish off the eye-catching look, as she wears her long, raven locks in loose waves.

Ciara took to Twitter to share the news of her upcoming cover, writing: 'I'm Soooo Excited To Be On The Cover Of The September Issue Of @shape_magazine!! Yaaayy!!'

The September issue of Shape magazine, featuring Ciara, hits newsstands on August 18.

She seemed to be in good spirits as she stopped to greet fans and sign autographs before heading inside.

Ciara then joined Michael to co-host Live! with Kelly and Michael, and to discuss her Shape cover as well as her new album, Jackie.

Michael actually revealed the cover to the excited star, who actually had not yet seen the final product at that point.

'That's so cool! Can I hold it?' Ciara gushed, as her co-host held the magazine up for the audience and cameras.

Later, Ciara switched things up as she donned a black jumpsuit with a flowing sheer skirt, as she took the stage to perform her latest single Dance Like We're Making Love.
