Reporting for duty! Katie Holmes has that just rolled out of bed look in plaid shirt and comfy sweat pants on set of All We Had
This outfit was a lot more comfortable looking than the tiny denim mini-dress she had to wear on camera the day before.
Katie Holmes must have breathing a sigh of relief as she arrived to the upstate New York set of her new drama All We Had on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old actress was clad in casual lounging attire that consisted of a cosy button-down red plaid shirt and matching mauve track trousers.

Another day, another outfit: Katie Holmes arrived to the upstate NY set of her new film All We Had in comfortable style on Wednesday
While it's not clear whether she would be wearing the comfy clothes in a scene, which that day was shot at a petrol station, Katie seemed to appreciate the loose fit.
Her newer, shorter 'do was a choppy layer of waves and large-framed shades concealed her eyes from view.
Katie clasped the collar closer while strolling among the parked cars in her flat-heeled sandals.
Plaid appeal: The 36-year-old actress stayed cosy in a red and blue plaid button-down shirt
Reporting for duty: Katie wore a pair of loosely fitting mauve track trousers that looked a lot more comfortable than the tiny denim zip-up dress she had to wear for a scene the day before
Her complexion appeared to be freshly scrubbed, suggesting she had yet to visit the movie make-up department.
Katie plays a poor single mother in the movie - which she is also directing and executive producing - and she won't be seen as her usual glamorous self.
The actress' role requires her to be on the dowdy side, and her character is also missing a tooth.
Not her most glamorous-looking role: The actress plays a poor single mother named Rita Carmichael in the film that also requires her to look gaunt and toothless
That's quite a stretch: Katie tugged down on her very short hem between scenes in Queens, NY on Tuesday
Do it in denim with Katie's Topshop zip dress
We thought we'd seen it all, but we've never seen this side to Katie Holmes!
The brunette beauty got into full character mode for her new film All We Had. Once we looked past the disheveled hair and gormless expression we had to admit we really like that denim dress!
Denim dresses are huge news this season thanks to the likes of Stella McCartney, Chloe and Valentino and we didn't think there was a style left that hadn't already been done. Until we clapped eyes on this bandeau zip through number that is! It's (amazingly) by Topshop. Their 'archive' collection to be exact, which takes inspiration from bygone eras.
We think they had the 80s in mind with this number and that's no bad thing! Click (right) to snap it up now and wear it with crisp white sneakers and a suede jacket for an off-beat look.
Or, for more styles, head to our edit below. We love this G-Star number or nab this gem of a Pierre Balmain offering which is now reduced.
On Tuesday, Katie was spotted filming a sequence that required her to wear an extremely tight-fitting, tiny denim zip-up dress.
She was seen tugging down on the hem and pulling up the top between takes, suggesting the attire is a lot less than she's used to.
The ex-wife of Tom Cruise plays the role of Rita Carmichael, a single mother struggling to get by in the wake of the 2008 financial collapse.
Tight fit: The star kept adjusting her outfit while shooting a sequence at a Walmart with her young co-star Stefania Owen, who plays her daughter Ruthie in the movie
Stefania Owen, who plays Katie's daughter Ruthie in the movie, was also seen acting out a scene with Katie who appeared to be rolling her eyes over what the younger actress had to say.
Later on Tuesday, the star was dressed in a pair of floral leggings with a brown flannelette shirt, which hung loosely on her.
Katie appeared rather tired which was no doubt a combination of her character's make-up and the fact she is also directing the film, juggling her on-screen and off-screen duties accordingly.
All We Had is based on the novel by Annie Weatherwax, and Katie liked it so much that she optioned it last year in order to bring it to the big screen.
The coming-of-age story, set during the worldwide financial crisis of 2008, follows the mother and daughter as they move to the small town of Grand River, Ohio, as reported by Deadline.com.
The script has been penned by The Fault in Our Stars director Josh Boone, and the movie will be produced by Jane Rosenthal and Berry Walsh through Tribeca Productions.
