And Ciara made sure she showed off the fruits of her labour as she made a rather sexy stage appearance at the From Blitz To Hits 5th Anniversary Celebration in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The 29-year-old singer rocked a racy ensemble for the occasion, showcasing her incredible figure in a low-cut fringed bustier and a pair of skintight trousers.

The pop princess wore her hair loose in a centre-parting with red lips upping the glam factor for her performance at Stage 48 in NYC, while topping off the look with a fierce peaked cap.

She noted that the three-in-one training process was quite beneficial: 'It’s hitting your muscles, it’s a cardiovascular workout, and it’s a mental exercise.'

'Once I got back into it, I worked out two or three times daily,' the star gushed of her drastic weight loss by the help of trainer Gunnar Peterson, whom also helped Khloe Kardashian attain her enviable physique.

She added: 'Five days a week, he puts me through an hour-long plyometric cardio circuit that always includes boxing elements.'

The Body Party singer commented how this type of workout improves her confidence: 'You have to be super focused when you’re boxing. After I’ve done a few rounds, I feel as if I can conquer the world.'

Ciara also revealed that her transformation wouldn't be possible without staying continually hydrated, having admitted to chugging almost a gallon of water daily.

Despite her rigid nutrition plan and sweaty gym sessions, the leggy brunette dished that she does indulge in a few off days.

She shared: 'When I’m on a strict eating regimen, at some point I have to have french fries, a cheeseburger and some pizza. And Oreos and vanilla ice cream!'

The Goodies hitmaker also has a trick for controlling cravings. Ciara tells herself: 'The food isn't going anywhere.'

Within the steamy magazine spread, the Oh crooner shows off her shapely stems in one photo by wearing a tiny bodysuit covered by a zip-up jacket.
