Nicole Kidman has slammed a new report claiming she was ‘furious’ after seeing photos of husband Keith Urban spending time with his support act Kelsea Ballerini on tour.

The 48-year-old’s representative told DailyMail.com that the allegations are ‘rubbish’. Representatives for Keith and Kelsea have been contacted for comment.

Keith, 47, was pictured hanging out with the 21-year-old singer and a male friend in between performances on his tour bus.

A source alleged to Star magazine: ‘It was apparent to everyone that [Kelsea] was totally infatuated with Keith.’

Star went on to claim that Nicole heard about the two musicians hanging out together and called her husband of nine years to find out what was going on.

‘She was furious. She called Keith as soon as she heard and demanded to know what women he’d been hanging around with in his trailer,’ the insider alleged.

‘Nicole kept hammering away until he finally admitted that Kelsea had visited him. Nicole asked what happened, and Keith said they just talked about how Kelsea’s set went.

‘He insisted their private meeting was strictly professional, but Nicole is still questioning his judgement.’

The source also claimed that the couple are ‘not making time to reconnect’, as Nicole is currently in London for work on West End play Photograph 51, which will run from September 5 to November 21.

Meanwhile country crooner Keith has been busy performing in the US and will then return to the judging panel of American Idol for its final season, premiering early next year.

Nicole appears on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue Australia, and in an accompanying interview gushes about her love for Keith.

'It's unbelievable that we found each other and at that stage in our lives were able to connect in that way and be that open to what the future was going to be,' she said.

'But we really commit to each other and give to the relationship; our priority is to be together. I don't ever take it for granted.'

Nicole and Keith married on June 25, 2006 after a year and a half of dating. They have two daughters together: seven-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith.

The actress previously married Tom Cruise in 1990, and they divorced in 2001.
