She recently returned home from the UK, where she was busy filming The Huntsman sequel.

And it looks like Emily Blunt is thrilled to be back in Los Angeles, as the 32-year-old actress spent some quality time with her daughter Hazel at the city's LA Zoo on Wednesday.

The mother-of-one looked stunning in an off-duty style, which consisted of a cropped black jumpsuit emblazoned with an intricate white motif.

She kept her footwear comfortable, opting for a pair of cream trainers as she pushed along her one-year-daughter, who was unable to contain her smile as she and her mother headed toward the zoo entrance.

Favouring a low profile, Emily concealed her pretty face beneath a pair of over-sized black sunglasses and wore her golden locks in a chic top knot as she enjoyed a day out with her little girl.

Despite her infancy, Hazel was no doubt the most stylish tot at the zoo in a cobalt blue floppy hat and floral pink romper. On her teeny feet were a trendy pair of brogues.

The Golden Globe Award-winning actress – who welcomed Hazel with husband John Krasinski in February last year – previously opened up about raising children in today’s society, describing it as 'a fear-based industry'.

'There used to be one book that everyone read, now there’s How to Raise a Gluten-free Baby, How to Raise a Scientific Baby … It’s insanity! So I haven’t read anything, I’m just letting her do her own thing,' she told Porter magazine.

Earlier in the day, the Into The Woods actress was seen making time for her husband, John.

The loved-up couple spent the morning working out together at the Rise Movement Studio in West Hollywood.

Exhibiting her natural beauty, Emily went make-up free for the outing, though once again concealed her face beneath a pair of shades.

The British actress sported a loose-fitting blue vest top and hugged her slender legs in a pair of skin-tight leggings.

A smiling John looked equally relaxed in a black T-shirt, shorts and trainers.

Meanwhile, it's been announced that Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie is hoping to shoot a sequel of Blunt's 2014 flick Edge of Tomorrow.

The sci-fi movie, which also starred veteran actor Tom Cruise, is in talks for a sequel - but only if Emily is on board.

'It all comes down to WB [Warner Bros] and Doug Liman [director] and Emily Blunt saying yes,' McQuarrie told Uproxx.

'The idea is there... That was one of the best creative teams I've ever worked with as far as a team of rivals: Emily is one facet of that; Doug Liman is a completely different and opposing force; Tom Cruise is another. And there I am in the middle, just playing to these three really strong, really smart people,' he dished.
