She was going head to head in a red carpet fashion battle with supermodel Heidi Klum.

But Mel B made sure she pulled out all the sartorial stops as she joined her America's Got Talent co-judge at the show's quarter-finals at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Tuesday night.

The 40-year-old singer looked utterly incredible as she showcased her gym-honed curves in a skintight futuristic white dress at the first night of season 10's live shows.

Clinging to her every curve, the former Spice Girls star's choice of outfit had a sexy, space cadet feel as she worked her magic in front of the cameras.

The long-sleeved, high-neck fit of the dress ensured her outfit was on the right side of demure, but intricately-placed cut-outs on the arms and waist added an edge to her look.

The dress was cut to the knee to show off some skin as well as her silver, strappy sandals which perfectly complemented her outfit, while drop-shell earrings completed the styling of the mother-of-three's outfit.

Mel - full name Melanie Brown - added a pop of colour with glossy red lips and pointed red nails, although two of her nails were painted bright yellow to add interest.

Her dark locks were styled into an elegant up-do with her side-fringe framing her features, including her incredibly long eyelashes.

Taking to Instagram later on Tuesday, the former Spice Girl shared a cute selfie of her with fellow AGT judges, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

German supermodel Heidi, 42, also wasn't afraid to show some skin on the red carpet on Tuesday wearing a barely-there black mini-dress.

The mother-of-four turned heads in the very short dress, which featured strategically-placed sun medallions, plenty of risque cut-outs and a plunging neckline.

It's the first of twelve live shows for America's Got Talent judges Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Howard Stern, with the next show airing in the US on Wednesday.
