Meanwhile, Rancic insisted her departure from E! News was planned years ago - and had nothing to do with the scandal over edited comments she made on Fashion Police.
Fortunately the 40-year-old television personality was bolstered by the support of husband Bill Rancic as she bid adieu to her coworkers at E! News on Monday.
Giuliana got a little emotional as she posted photos of her last day on set with the crew including one in which she got a loving hug from 44-year-old Bill.

'And on this note...it's a wrap. Fourteen years of memories at one show,' the mother-of-one captioned the snap. 'Fifty more years of memories to be made with my soulmate. Let's do this @billrancic!!!!!'
Giuliana - who is keeping her other gig on Fashion Police - shared a picture of the entire work crew she is bidding adieu, writing: 'What an honor to work with the most incredible gang in the business.'
She added: 'I love each and every one of you @enews and thank you for 14 years of love and laughs!!! Thank you for tonight's beautiful send off. I [love] U! #secondfamily.'

Party time: Bill serenaded his wife at the dinner bash thrown in her honour on Monday
Bill wrote a touching memo to his wife of eight years entitled Giuliana: Why I'm So Proud, and in it he described her fight against breast cancer.
'Even in recent months, through some of the harder times, you showed nothing but grace under pressure,' Bill gushed.
'You've dealt with worse and you've taken the high road, when others wouldn't have, something you always do...That's something that makes me love and respect you even more.
'You've dealt with worse': Bill penned a letter commending Giuliana on her work ethic, adding, 'You've taken the high road, when others wouldn't have, something you always do...'
'I'll close by saying my wife is the definition of the American Dream. A dream that's become even more important in recent years.
'She came to this country at a young age and could barely speak English. All the kids in her class laughed when she stood up at 8 years old and said she wanted to be an award-winning anchor someday. No one is laughing now.'
A big dinner party was thrown in honour of Giuliana where she was serenaded by Bill and Jason Kennedy.

Giuliana said that her departure from E! News was her idea.
'It was 100 percent my decision to leave,' she told People. 'I brought up the idea to leave three years ago, but E! News kept extending me because they wanted me to stay.'
This past year at E! has no doubt been taxing for Giuliana, who was accused of making a racist comment about Zendaya Coleman's hair at the Oscars.
Scandal: The Fashion Police host came under fire when she made comments about Zendaya Coleman's hair at The Oscars, saying it looked as though it 'smelt of patchouli oil or weed'
Giuliana had said that Zendaya's hair looked as though it 'smelt of patchouli oil or weed' on the Oscars special episode, prompting Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne to quit the show.
Following the joke, Zendaya said that the comments were 'not only a large stereotype but outrageously offensive.'
She only accepted Giuliana's apology after the TV personality reached out via Twitter and on-the-air.
