The 34-year-old posted a topless selfie on Tuesday with a note telling her one million followers that she wanted to share something intimate with them.

Christina then promised her legion of social media minions that there was more just like this semi-nude photo to come.

Sneak peek at Christina Aguilera's performance on Nashville

Aguilera finished work on The Voice in May but she hasn't exactly been idle in her time off.

The singer is raising with fiancé Matt Rutler and their 11-month-old baby girl Summer and her seven-year-old son Max.

As the star admitted to E! News earlier this year that she's been savouring the domestic life of late.

'My children constantly inspire me,' Christina said. 'And I love being at home and cuddling with them in my sweatpants. I learn so much from them, and every day is a new and fun adventure. I couldn't be more lucky to have Max and Summer. They are the lights of my life.'

Since wrapping season eight of The Voice in May, Christina's had more time to devote to her little ones.

When she's not spending time with her children and Matt, Christina is at the recording studio where she's been working on new music.
