Heating up the kitchen! Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller share a kiss in the first trailer for Burnt

Bradley Cooper will star as a celebrity chef in his next movie, Burnt, and the first trailer for the film shows just how much intensity that role will bring.

With the trailer featuring a brief tease of a kiss between the 40-year-old actor and his 33-year-old co-star, Sienna Miller, the intense scenes will not just be confined to the kitchen.

Playing Chef Adam Jones, Bradley's voiceover sums up both his personal and professional lives: 'I loved every minute of it - the heat, the pressure, the violence.'

'When I was 16, I quit school. I saved just enough for a one-way ticket to Paris,' explains Bradley as the trailer begins.

'Maybe I just wanted it really bad, and when I got it - too early - I didn't know how to hold onto it?'

In the movie, Adam clawed his way to the top of the Paris restaurant world - earning two Michelin stars in the process - but the success destroyed him.

'I don't want my restaurant to be a place where people come and eat. I want people to sit at that table and be sick with longing,' Adam tells Helene.

That longing may carry over to the bedroom, with Adam seen at one point shirtless and worrying about his abilities with Helene.

In addition to the romance, the cooking theme of the movie pervades the trailer, showing multiple scenes in kitchens and many conversations focusing only on food.

There is even a soundtrack made up of knives rhythmically chopping in preparation for a meal.

The film co-stars Daniel Bruhl, Omar Sy, Matthew Rhys, Uma Thurman, and Emma Thompson and will be released on October 23.
