Three more women have joined the crowded ranks of Bill Cosby's accusers, among them an actress who had a bit part on the comedian's popular family sitcom.

Colleen Hughes and Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer said Cosby, 78, had sexually assaulted them in the early 1970s, while Eden Tirl said he sexually harassed her on The Cosby Show set in 1989.

The three women joined attorney Gloria Allred, who represents 21 of the accusers, for a press conference Wednesday, detailing the sexual abuse they had allegedly suffered at the hands of the embattled comedian decades earlier.

New York Magazine interviewed and profiled 35 of Cosby's accusers in a July cover story that featured an empty chair next to the rows of women. The chair sparked questions on how many more women may have similar allegations against the comedian.

Ms Ridegway Whitedeer said she met Bill Cosby for a job interview in 1971 on a movie set and came away from the encounter covered in the actor's bodily fluids after he had allegedly shoved his manhood in her mouth.

The woman recalled to the assembled reporters how Cosby then took out a tissue to wipe her face and mumbled that she had been blessed with his semen as if it were holy water, according to court reporter Pamela Chelin, of The Wrap, who live-tweeted the news conference.

He later walked her to her car and averted his eyes in fear when she glared at him, the woman stated.

At the time, she said, she was an aspiring actress and had been married for a while to a television agent who also worked for the comedian.

'As undignified as this is, it is my turn to take the empty chair that I saw on the cover of the New York Magazine, because I was assaulted sitting in a chair on a job interview and I was not drugged,' she said.

Eden Tirl, a former model, said she first met Cosby in 1989 after a taping of The Cosby Show.

She was repeatedly invited to the star's dressing room, but each time he was not there.

Tirl, who eventually landed a small role on the show playing a police officer, visited Cosby's room on later occasion, and that time she said he was there and locked the door behind them.

The situation felt dangerous to her, Tirl said, and she told Cosby matter-of-factly, 'Bill, you are Jell-O pudding pops and Fat Albert to me... you are my childhood,' to which the comic Cosby allegedly replied: 'Don't say that, they all say that!'

The comedian then allegedly whispered in her ear that they were going to make love and hugged her.

Tirl said she knew what happened to her was sexual harassment, but it took three dozen other women to come forward before she got the courage to speak out.

‘I don't think it would be prudent to give someone a pass because of unrelated contributions to our community, or that we may al collectively share good memories of their once popular television show,’ Ms Tirl summed up.

Colleen Hughes, a former American Airlines flight attendant, told reporters that she met Cosby on a flight to Los Angeles in the 1970s, and the married actor invited her to lunch in Beverly Hills.

After landing in LA, Hughes went to Cosby's hotel room to take a shower and get ready to go out.

When she emerged from the bathroom, fully clothed, the woman recalled, she discovered that Cosby had ordered champagne and appetizers for the two of them to share

Hughes had a glass of champagne and drifted off while watching the news on TV. She awakened only hours later in a state of confusion, realizing she had been sexually assaulted.

The woman shared intimate details of the scene in the room, saying that her clothed were scattered all around and she felt semen all over her body. Cosby was nowhere to be found.

A year later, Hughes said she ran into Cosby again on a light and he was flirting with him as if nothing happened between them, leading her to believe that he did not remember her at all.

Hughes said she told the actor she did not want to be drugged by him again, in reaction to which Cosby allegedly turned pale and asked her if she had told anyone about it.

Hughes replied she did not report the assault for fear that no one would believe her story.

Bill Cosby, 78, has never been criminally charged. He and his lawyers acknowledge marital infidelity on his part but have consistently denied allegations of criminal wrongdoing.

Earlier his month, a judge ordered Cosby to give a sworn deposition in a lawsuit brought by Judy Huth and her lawyer, Gloria Allred, accusing the comedian of plying her with alcohol and sexually abusing her at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles when she was 15 years old.

Huth is one of more than 40 women who have come forward in the past year to say that they were raped or molested by Cosby after he gave them alcohol or drugs in incidents dating back decades.

In 2006 Cosby reached a confidential settlement for an undisclosed sum with a former Temple University employee, Andrea Constand, who accused him of sexual assault. Parts of the deposition he gave in that case a year earlier were made public last month.
