Lamar Odom has defended himself, after reports emerged on Wednesday that he 'ambushed' his ex wife Khloe Kardashian outside her morning fitness class.

Speaking to TMZ on camera, the former NBA player insists he did not 'follow, hassle or harass' the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, suggesting that their meeting was prearranged.

According to an earlier report on the site, Khloe was confronted by her former husband outside SoulCycle in LA on Wednesday morning, but Lamar is keen to tell his side of the story.

The former NBA star allegedly launched a verbal attack and demanded the reality star speak to him as she arrived for an early morning workout.

An onlooker said Khloe attempted to ignore him but he grabbed her arm. She allegedly screamed: 'Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop.'

As another witness allegedly asked if Khloe wanted them to contact police, Lamar allegedly screamed: 'You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom.'

Khloe is said to have responded: 'How did you know I was here?' before reportedly running to her car and driving away.

Lamar though has insisted he didn't ambush his ex, telling a TMZ reporter in a new video that 'nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on, none of that...It's ridiculous, it's crazy...It's just not the truth.'

Pointing out that he lives in Las Vegas and therefore has no idea of his ex's daily routine or hangouts in Los Angeles, he asks: 'Did I just guess right where this girl may be?'

'You know I know Khloe right? You know I was close to her?' he says to the reporter. 'So how would you think I ended up there?'

When the reporter replied 'I would think that there was some communication between you two,' the sportsman agrees, telling him 'OK then.'

In a sometimes angry rant, Lamar apologises for yelling, but admits he's at breaking point. 'It's hard for me to keep my composure, to everybody that I know and that supports me I'm sorry but that's it, the dog has to fight back,' he says.

'Ya'll beat me down, degraded me, said I would do everything in the world. I'm a womaniser, a f**king drug addict, everything. I probably couldn't even get f**king hired at Home Depot right now because of how people look at me, it's over...If it happens again I will air everything out.'

According to an onlooker, Khloe was visibly upset and freaked out by the alleged encounter with her ex on Wednesday.

People reported on the same day that Khloe had been forced to change her number because Lamar wouldn't stop calling her.

It was only on Sunday Khloe made her first public debut with her new boyfriend James Harden.

The 25-year-old basketball player accompanied the blonde to her sister Kylie's 18th birthday party, which was held at The Nice Guy and Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Los Angeles.

She had been keeping the relationship very much on the down low until the event.

The pair also celebrated July 4th together at a Las Vegas club.

While Klhoe's family and friends are thrilled by her new romance her ex husband is not.

However Khloe's best friend, Malika Haqq, revealed they are getting along famously, when she posted a photo of the reality star planting a kiss on her new beau's cheek at Kylie's birthday bash.

A source told the publication he had been trying to contact his former wife but she had ignored him.

The insider said: 'It made Khloé first shocked and then scared that Lamar was waiting outside the studio

'She doesn't know how he found her. She is thinking about getting a bodyguard.'

Khloe's sister Kim has also had safety concerns - another source told the magazine Mrs Kardashian-West had been encouraging her younger sibling to get a bodyguard.

The insider said: 'She told Khloé that his behavior is inappropriate, and she needs to nip it in the bud before it escalates.'

According to the source Khloe was in full agreement, and she was going to start looking into private security right away.

The insider added: 'Kim says that there's no reasoning with Lamar right now, so it's better to be safe than sorry.'

Meanwhile Khloe and Lamar signed off on their divorce last month.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2009, split over the former NBA stars alleged drug use and infidelity.

They filed their final divorce papers in July, and it was claimed by TMZ the former couple just needed a judge's signature to make the split official.

It was alleged that the case was in danger of being thrown out earlier this year, but the pair then filed the appropriate paperwork to move forward.

It was only last month in an interview with Complex magazine Khloe confessed she still missed Lamar.

'Oh my god, I miss him every day. I miss what we had,' she told the publication, which had also done a raunchy shoot with the 5ft 10 stunner.
