She's about to make her big comeback, nine years after the height of her television fame.

But at 55, Anthea Turner has confessed that she's given nature a little helping hand as far as her camera ready looks, revealing to The Daily Star this week that she's had Botox and a boob job.

The former Blue Peter host revealed her secrets to staying youthful just as she returned on Thursday as The Health Lottery's new presenter.

'Botox is a marvelous thing,' she said. 'Put it this way, I can look angry but not furious. And I've had my boobs done too - they're great.'

The former children's TV presenter is still most fondly remembered for being the 19th presenter of the award winning BBC1's Blue Peter, as well as her time on the couch with GMTV but she's remarkably retained her youthful looks.

Adding about her secret, Anthea said: 'Just tidy up as you go along. I've got no problems with it at all and I would never lie about it.

'How can you say you're all natural when everyone knows it's not true at all? Sometimes, people say they haven't had Botox and I just think: You're a liar!'

Anthea had her breast enhancement in 2004 and has been battling two frown lines since 2010, and recently told one newspaper that she would 'never say never' to a facelift.

And with her new and exciting career path, Anthea is also single, insisting that her extremely close bond with Dragons’ Den star Richard Farleigh is just 'friendship'.

She famously divorced from husband of 13 years Grant Bovey in 2013, but still stays in touch with his 'three amazing daughters' Lily, 21, Amelia, 19, and Claudia, 16.

The relationship breakdown followed allegations that Grant had cheated on the television presenter with a younger woman, Zoe de Mallet Morgan.

Anthea said she went through multiple emotions to get over the split, telling The Express 'I’m no saint. Of course there’s anger, there’s humiliation, there’s upset and there’s pain.

'Girlfriends did say: "Well, what did you expect?". We are all fully paid-up members of hindsight. Hindsight is a marvellous thing.

'There came a point where I thought I can’t deal with these life issues on my own, I’m going to seek professional help. I never want to have "bitter and twisted" tattooed across my forehead.'
