Olivia Wilde sports bloodied fake baby bump as she films dramatic car crash scene for new series Vinyl

She plays the pregnant leading lady in upcoming drama series Vinyl.

But Olivia Wilde's on-screen pregnancy isn't as joyful as her real-life one was last year as her character becomes the victim of a fatal car crash in a scene which was filmed in Coney Island, Brooklyn, on Wednesday.

Olivia, 31, was pictured with blood on her hands and a blood-stained fake baby bump as she fled the scene of the accident.

Dressed in a form-flattering metallic mini dress, the House actress' prosthetic stomach protruded out from under the skimpy garment as she was pictured on set.

Olivia chose to go forgo underwear for the day of filming and her braless breasts were visible in the spaghetti-strap frock which also exposed almost the full length of her slender legs.

She teamed the simple but glam outfit with a pair of matching strappy block heels and stacks of bangles.

Olivia had her hair coiffed into a simple Seventies style thanks to a fresh blowdry and a full fringe.

She was joined by Birgitte Hjort Sørensen and Bobby Cannavale and the trio were seen laughing before the cameras started rolling.

However, the mood quickly changed when they were instructed to get into character and they acted out the traumatic scene with ease.

Olivia was seen exiting the classic red sports car which had just crashed with fake blood dripping from her hands and splattered across her mid-section while her co-stars stayed put.
