And now Nicki Minaj has brought her barrels full of sass and sexy to Robin Thicke’s latest song.

The two artists have collaborated on his new single ‘Back Together’ with the rapper's cameo bringing not only a switch up of pace to the tempo but also her trademark curves and attitude to the video.

However he has denied this telling GMA that it was actually written as part of a collaboration with Max Martin and Savan Kotecha.

‘I didn’t write this song, so I can’t take credit for the meaning,’ he told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America.

‘It’s more about the theme of getting yourself back together with love and partnership.’

After the success of Blurred Lines, which was the longest charting No 1 of Summer 2014, despite the allegations of it promoting rape culture, the album only sold 24,000 copies in its first week, with a plunge to 7,000 in week two – a drop of 72 per cent.
