She's known for being outspoken and certainly isn't shy about expressing herself.

And in a newly released clip for E!'s reality series, I Am Cait, Khloe Kardashian is seen confronting her parent, Caitlyn Jenner, about how she has allegedly been mistreating the 65-year-old's ex-wife, Kris Jenner.

In the snippet, the 31-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star laments about how the former Olympian has been dragging her mother 'though the mud.'

The clip begins with Caitlyn expressing concern over some 'tough' texts she received from Khloe.

Defending herself, Khloe responds: 'Kim [Kardashian] said that you said they were tough and Kim read all of them and she was like "these really weren’t that tough."'

'I just said "We don’t care what you’re doing." Meaning we don’t care if you want to transition. We want to support you and be there for you.'

Speaking her mind: The 31-year-old said, 'Let’s not drag my mom through the mud'

The fitness fanatic added: 'But, we don’t think that that entails you speaking negatively about my mom [Kris Jenner]…In our opinion, you don’t even need to mention my mom. Let’s not drag my mom through the mud."

This sit-down is the first time the two have been captured on-camera together on the new reality series, I Am Cait.

Prior to her transition, Caitlyn was married to Kris, 59, for 22 years and had two children together, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Disagree: The star didn't feel as though she was being so tough

Caitlyn also became a co-parent to Kris' children from her previous marriage to Robert Kardashian - Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Caitlyn kicked off her daughter Kylie's 18th birthday at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California.

The proud parent followed up by gushing words of praise about her 'angel' on her official birthday Monday.

Apathetic: Caitlyn didn't appear too concerned about Khloe's lamenting

Caityln told her 2.8 million strong army of Twitter minions: 'Happy birthday to my little angel @KylieJenner. Officially my last adult, my work is done. Love you, proud of you!'

Khloe, who was also at Sunday's party, added: 'Happy birthday to one of my best friends and one of the great loves of my life @kyliejenner!'

I Am Cait airs on Sunday at 8pm ET on E!
