But it was a case of another night, another racy outfit for Rihanna as she grabbed a bite to eat in New York City on Thursday evening.

Ditching her underwear once again, the 27-year-old pop princess looked incredible as she displayed extreme sideboob in a sexy backless top.

Rihanna's outfit was a stark contrast from her look earlier in the day, when she stepped out dripping in sweat after a gruelling gym session.

The singer - who serves as global brand ambassador and Creative Director for Puma -was spotted out and about repping the brand after her workout.

The rumoured girlfriend of racecar driver Lewis Hamilton also sported the athletic brand's black and white shorts and a pair of Nike sneakers.

The knee-length shorts perfectly showed off her new ankle tattoo, which was highlighted with a metallic anklet. Her brand new tattoo is an inscription of the year she was born, 1988.

This marks over 20 tattoos for the singer, over ten of which have been inked by Bang Bang, including a tribal design covering her entire right hand, which she had most recently done prior to her ankle tattoo.

The singer has a collection of other famous tattoos, including 'shhh' and 'love' inked across her fingers, a star tattooed on the inside of her left ear, a gun tattooed below her right armpit, and a bust of the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti on her rib cage.

Meanwhile, the star has been adding fuel to the fire when it comes to her rumored new romance with Lewis Hamilton.

Late Tuesday night, she was at 1Oak nightclub at the same time as the British 30-year-old champion Formula One driver.

However, the duo made sure to leave separately and get into different cars.

Lewis - whose long-term romance with Nicole Scherzinger ended earlier this year - also joined Rihanna on her recent trip to Barbados.
