Beaming Ed Sheeran proudly waves his driving theory test results around... but he refuses to reveal whether he passed or not

He's racked up an impressive number of awards in his four-year music career.

And Ed Sheeran can hopefully add a driving theory test to his pride of place after he was pictured beaming with delight as he emerged from a test centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on Wednesday.

The Thinking Out Loud hit-maker couldn't hide his happiness as he exited the building tightly clutching his results but he remained tight-lipped about whether he'd passed or not.

Ed, 24, was greeted by a small group of fans who he willingly showed his results to.

He proudly waved the piece of paper around as he snapped selfies with an office worker.

After bidding farewell to the handful of admirers, the chart-topping singer headed to his car with a female companion, possibly his driving instructor.

Ed jumped in the driver's seat and drove off without divulging whether it'd been a successful test or not.

MailOnline has contacted Ed's management for comment.

Whether he passed or not, he has plenty of reason to celebrate as it was recently revealed he will receive an honorary degree from University Campus Suffolk in autumn.
